Woody Grill - Shepherd's Bush Branch — Restaurant in London

I am literally on my death bed as I write this from severe food poisoning. I honestly have never felt worse in my life and wouldn’t wish this on anyone. If you’re reading this review, please do not eat here. Please! The food was fine and when we ordered it. We had chicken and it was white no pink and appeared well cooked. I found it extremely weird that they didn’t serve customers water, I asked for water and they said “at this time we’re not giving customers water” I’ve never been to a restaurant that denies customers water but we had our meal and everything was fine other than that.

Fast forward 2 days and I’m going to the toilet 3-5 times an hour with severe diarrhoea. I can’t sleep, I can barely eat and I’m in terrible discomfort. If I carry on like this I may need a hospital admission. Can you imagine that eating this food may send me to A&E and using up valuable NHS resources if I do need an admission. What the hell have hey put in this food is what I keep thinking. I’ve had COVID-19 twice and genuinely I would rather have COVID than what these people have done to me. The hygiene and food management must be of piss poor standard because the type of poisoning I have is extremely severe. I’m shaking, losing sensation in my thighs, dizzy and bruised from the pain of being on the toilet. Whoever owns the restaurant and manages food standards should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, I never get sick but this is honestly the worst sickness I’ve had in my entire life as a 25 year old.

No honestly whoever owns this restaurant, I’m terrified to see how the food is handled behind the scenes because I feel horrific, I’ve had to miss work because of this food and it’s gotten so bad that my diarrhoea is just...

🤢🤮 Second time I've been here in a week and this last time. I NEARLY THREW UP . The meat smelt off and tasted so strange my other friends found their portion of kebeb was mixed between bad off meat and bland meat even though I asked for a well done lamb doner it came hardly cooked and looked soggy and unlike any lamb I've seen before. They kindly redone it but as soon as I put it in my mouth It was hard to chew and after the second bite I gagged and nearly threw up i looked closer and it didn't look like lamb. The week before I ordered a kofta kebab and it was full of watery substance it wasn't grease. When I told this to the guy working there he changed it quickly and from the look on his face he knew it wasn't adequate quality after he brought over another one it was slightly less raw looking but still very soggy as someone who loves Turkish food and know the Turks are well known for quality so i even called a Turkish friend describing what I was given and he said there is no Turkish kofta dish where its very soggy! So I went back again this time I went for a chicken shish because its hard to mess up and guess what it was not cooked thoroughly. I know this sounds picky but I swear Im not a fussy eater and only complain when something is really bad and I usually take pictures to prove it. I'm really disappointed about all this because I thought they learnt their lesson after they were fined £30k and put allover the local newspapers but unfortunately I think this place will never change when 2 years ago me and my friends all got food poisoning from this place one of my friends had to be hospitalised. I should of learned my lesson and never come back here....

We went to Woody grill and we really regretted it the food was okay but the customer service was absolutely shocking.The toilets were outrageous the toilet seat was not even attached the lock didn’t work the floor was covered in water and urine behind the sink there was excrements, the tissues were completely wet and the other bathroom had no tissues the hand dryer wasn’t working and the sinks could be pulled out. When I asked a member of staff to clean the toilet they responded can’t you do it to yourself twice when I finally convinced them that it was their job to clean the toilets the job they did was awful and not satisfactory. When I asked the staff for a missing set of cutlery and two tissues they gave me nothing for half an hour when I eventually had to go up and ask for them I ordered a green tea the when the woman told me she was brewing it I waited a whole 10 minutes to simply receive a cup with a teabag in it which was delivered 10 minutes after my food meaning that I left with my tea unfinished. As I have already mentioned the food is decent but the customer service needs Serious improvements and The restaurant is severely understaffed if you would like to order food from this restaurant I would recommend that you only order takeaway or online because going into the restaurant is despicable.The waitress didn’t even show me my bill but I was so eager to escape that I simply paid without looking...
