Worst experience I have ever had in a superdrug shop. The manager and staff are not able to process a refund. I visited this location Friday 08/10 at around 7pm, just before closing and purchased a product indicated on the shelf as discounted 1/2 price. When paying, the only cashier available rushed the process as there was a queue behind me. I realized 1 minute later, when exiting the shop, that the price on the bill was full, therefore I queued again, in order to ask for a refund. I've previously purchased the same product 1 month ago and the same thing happened, so I didn't want to accept their mistake. The cashier, instead of being mortified for the mistake, tried to make me doubt about the price I have seen and called the Manager, Monica. The Manager scanned the products on the shelf and realized they were misplaced, and it should have been placed differently 2 days ago. This demonstrates poor management and organizational skills. Then, they made me wait 5 minutes in front of the till for a refund that has been initially done by the Manager, Monica, and has been left half way through to the initial cashier. The worst part is that they first refunded me the full price of the product, in order to charge me the discounted price, but the cashier charged me the discounted price and the difference between the full price and the discounted one. When trying to rebate this amount, the cashier cut it short to me, saying that I should keep the receipt and come back if I would have any issue. I will definitely visit the shop to put in a formal complaint for the manager and the cashier. My point is not built around the money, at all, as the amount was very small. Read moreI have never written a review of this store, because I have always received a very pleasant service from the team. There is a team member whom I seem to bump into alot, Mary, and who is always willing to assist. But on this occasion, and one hope's on the many visits in the future, the star of the day goes to a team member named Sophie, who exhibited exceptional customer service. One, always tries to find the product before seeking assistance from a team member and on this occasion that is what I had to do. Sophie was "manning the door" and when I approached her I was greeted with a most wonderful personality (first star). Sophie had asked another team member to take over the Host position at the door and walked with me to the area of my inquiry, instead of passing me off to another team member (second star). I had shown a very bad picture of the product's which I was looking for and immediately Sophie knew the products in question and had began to inform me the products had recently been redesigned in appearance and labeling (third star). Then, there was a very brief interlude of "small talk" and if she could help me with the rest of my shopping within the store (fourth star). As I was about to leave, Sophie had made it her duty to thank me for calling and bid me a very warm farewell (fifth star). I shop all the time at Superdrug and did find out that in Shepherd’s Bush Green Superdrug they had some discontinued products so I went there and nicely asked the store manager to help me but she was so useless that I don’t think she deserves to be a store manager . Is the worst experience that I ever had with staff in my entire life. She didn’t want to help she wasn’t even listening to what I was asking as she would make a question on something I just told her she even walked away as I asked her if she could check something for me on the gun telling me I don’t have one. Which from my other experiences even if she was busy she should told me I am doing something give me 2 minutes and I will get a gun and help but that wasn’t in her mind she just walked away . I had to look for other stuff members so they could help .I felt so uncomfortable that I had to tell her you are acting like you hate me and I just was there for some discontinued stuff and never seen that lady before so there was no reason whatsoever for her behaviour.
