Al Shamyat — Restaurant in Manchester

Oh my good, Al Shamyat by far is the best mederitarian bakery shop in the UK. I have visited many many places to taste mediterranean bakery in the UK including Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Coventry however Alshamyat is the top one. They have a very thin dough that melt into your mouth and make you eat and eat without even noticing.

I have tried different options and all of them took me to the heaven. Zaatar and chees is my favourite, you definitely must try it. If you are a Falafel fan, then you have to come here and try the special bread that they sevice with the Flafel. They make it infront of you and you eat it directly from rhe oven.

The place is super busy and doesn't have a lot of tables, so no recommend for large groups. Visit eary to avoid disappointments. Also, don't expect luxury...

Horrible service! Rang the restaurant at around 1pm Ordered 30 pieces and informed them that i am traveling away from the city. They said it will take 1 hour to prepare the order, i said 1-2 hours no issues, drove to the restaurant from altrincham after 3 hours (around 4pm so gave them one extra hour), when i arrived they said they haven’t prepared the order yet and that they would start preparing it now and would need 1 hour to be ready. Absolutely ridiculous and lack or respect! Wont get near that place ever again
