Encountered blatant racism with one of the staff members here. I was with a friend and he ordered before me, he ordered latte with oat milk. When it was my turn to order I also ordered a latte with oat milk but the same barista that literally just took my friends order right before me d they “do not do oatmilk” I was confused as I’ve been here before and had oatmilk in my coffee. Anyways I was like alright I’ll just have regular milk. Then another barista came to hand me and my friend our coffee and she said one of them had oatmilk so I was confused and asked which one had oatmilk turns out it was my friend who is a different colour to me. I asked the barista that I don’t understand because the guy who made our coffee told me that they don’t do oatmilk, so I asked for oatmilk and she remade my coffee with oatmilk. She was really nice but it’s sad that I was lied to by one of the baristas which I can only imagine was because of my skin colour. Don’t know what his issue was but I don’t understand how he is even employed there.

Apparently it doesn’t look like you take it very seriously. Giving the sarcastic tone in your response it does not sound like you actually care, what it sound like is that you are blaming me for your staff incompetence. The situation could’ve been handled a lot better by the barista afterwards. When the female barrister came over with the drinks and I asked confusingly that you guys do oat milk after all and she said yes I said and pointed at the barista who took my order and said that he said you don’t do oat milk he looked at me, pretty much giving me a dirty look and did not say anything. So at that point he could have said he misheard me. I did not mishear him I asked for oat milk he said you don’t do oat milk and I can only have normal milk even my friend was there so you cannot tell me two people misheard the barista. Maybe stop covering for your staff and actually take accountability. And fyi my accusation is most definitely not baseless. I rarely give out reviews you can even fact check that with my account never mind going round accusing people of racism. This one was very much warranted. This was my second visit here and I brought my friend to this place so I definitely have no reason to give a negative review if it was not warranted. Also what’s out of order is your racist staff lol maybe talk to them about that. The fact that I brought this up as a genuine concern and you basically shrugging it off. As I mentioned before I have no reason to leave a negative review but my experience that day was truly disappointing, I did however mention the kind barista who replaced my two drinks I purchased. I had visitors from out of town and had already promised to make coffee so it was disappointing and embarrassing when I could not.
