B.U.N — Restaurant in Manchester

This is going to be a long one, so belt up and get ready to hear about a food experience that made me fall in love with eating out again!

After hearing yet another burger eatery opened in Manchester. I was expecting another generic “smash” burger place.

Dare I say, this place is on different level in terms of food, service and vibe.

Upon entry you are pleasantly greeted by hipster interior that would be befitting for the Northern Quarter. You almost forget that you’re in counterfeit capital known as Cheetham Hill.

When placing my order, I was met by very knowledgeable, polite and engaging server who took his time and explained the various menu items. I was very particular and asked a lot questions, he made me feel like I was no trouble at all.

A nice refreshing touch of class to hospitality which is overlooked by food places these days.

Now on to the food, one word WOW. Mind equals blown!

The beef was cooked and seasoned to perfection, just the perfect amount of caramelisation on the outside and yet still super juicy on the inside!

The vessel and condiments used to transport this meaty goodness was assembled in such a way that a swiss watch maker would be proud!

Following the onset of meat sweats, and realising this burger experience was nearing the end, I started to savour every bite and eventually restraint myself going for seconds.

The “bun sauce” which just elevates the burger to new heights and or just anything that is blessed with its presence is dangerously addictive! I was absolutely hooked and was considering selling a kidney to fund life times supply of this tangy golden creamy goodness!

This secret sauce would have Colonel Sanders turning in his grave, as he no longer has most sought after secret in the food industry. Safe to say he just got knocked of his perch!

After having the burger, I thought how can they top that?

The Chicken and waffle! I was baffled by the strange concoction, how can sweet and savoury work at the same time? Boy! was I wrong, the combinations and balance was perfect, mesmerising your taste buds, making you question traditional flavours!

All I can say is Chirs Eubank Jr wish he had combinations like these.

After being stunned and in a partial food coma, I decided I had to shake the hand of the culinary magician behind the food.

I was greeted by a mysterious bearded man who reminded me of a wizard, upon listening to his story behind the brand and food you can really see and taste the soul in the food.

All I’m going to say is, give it ago you won’t be disappointed!

I recently visited Bun Inc in Manchester and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, the service was impeccable and the food was simply amazing.

I ordered the smash burger and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection! The beef patty was juicy and flavorful, and the brioche bun was the perfect complement.
