Went here in December for work’s do. Wasn’t cheap and we paid for 7 meals - only got about 3 between us. At the beginning of the night I put my card behind the bar to pay. At the end of the night the card was given back to me with a receipt. As we went to leave one of the waitresses then followed us out onto the street and accused us of not paying. I pointed out that since my card has been returned to me with a receipt, I assumed they had processed the payment. Her response was “you think you can walk out without paying darling?” - a brilliant example of customer service! She claimed they could not process a payment unless I put my PIN number in - untrue given they had all the details of my card, and had taken a deposit over the phone without my pin previously. I went back inside and paid before leaving. I asked the doorman for the waitress’ name but he claimed not to know it. After I’d left the waitress approached another member of my party and said “complain if you want, I don’t give a s**t, it’s only a weekend job.” She was classy! I did complain but after an initial response advising my complaint had been passed to management I never heard back from them - obviously they don’t mind if I share this experience all over social media instead.

Read moreIt was my hen night there on the 28th may. 15 of us went and we had a fab night. We opted for the buffet at £22 per person and it was plentiful, if you wanted more all you had to do was ask and the staff would bring the extra out to your table. The toilets are down stairs, however i did not use them as i have walking difficulties but there was a disabled toilet on the same level which was easily assessable. The staff were very friendly, infact they all made us more than welcome. Crazy wendy was fun and provided us with lots of giggles , wendy and the rest of staff all joined in with the dancing and fun. I would go back again and it is...
Read moreFood and drink was outrageously over priced, nothing more than a shoddy chinese take-away at £20 per head at the weekend. Wine was £15 a bottle and the same as you get from 'New Zealand Wines' (if you're a student) which normally sells for £3 a bottle.
Wendy came on late, but was entertaining - winning them their single star.
At the end of the night, having brought our student IDs and eaten in - as the deal on their brochure described, the staff then denied our 10% discount for no other reason than they were entitled to give or not give the offer to whoever they chose.
Hugely overpriced, hugely unfair. I would warn...
