Awful experience- We went in after a recommendation from our colleague in hopes for a decent Chai Latte... extra hot. As with every coffee shop, if you're not happy with your drink, they would just either change it for you or make it better. That wasn't the case here- Management was called to the front to ask us what was wrong with the coffee, he had a sip of the coffee and said it was fine and then had the cheek to give us one of the chai lattes back along with a standard latte- even though we both asked to change our drinks. You could hear the frustration as the barista was getting told off by management because he offered to change our drinks. We love to support local coffee shops as opposed to the larger chains but this experience left a poor taste - literally- in our mouths. Poor experience, too much confrontation over a coffee. Being from an office over 100 people recently moved into the area, this will not be our local.

Response to owner: You didn't offer us an "additional drink" as you took a sip out of one of the coffee's- either way we paid for the coffee and a whole load of attitude from the manager. This is no reflection on the barista who's first day it was- We also didn't assume that the milk was sour. We know what a chai latte is. Being a small independent business, you should treat your customers as you'd like to be treated- I wouldn't have written this google review if it was just a small matter. Just treat your customers a...

A great coffee shop located near Albert Square and the Manchester Town Hall. Very close to St Peter's Square and Piccadilly Gardens.

The interior is done in a minimalist fashion, but also incorporates "2014 tumblr" aesthetic with large fake flowers and plants. The seating area is not large, however there are several tables for two and four, as well as an small seating area near the entrance. It has nice ambient lighting inside the cafe, which makes it more intimate, while having large floor-to-ceiling windows at the front for people who would prefer to look outside or read a book. The furniture is very soft and comfortable. The music is a quiet lo-fi playlist, which is ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee.

The barista was very friendly and welcoming. You can order at counter first or go straight to the tables. The prices are good, about an average in Manchester (£6 coffee + bake). They have a good selection of hot drinks and different bakes, cakes and other niceties. They also sell some merchandise, as well as their coffee beans.

I ordered a flat white, which was absolutely delicious. Very rich and flavourful, tasting of chocolate and hazelnuts. The foam was nice and creamy. A Biscoff & Caramel Cup was also amazing. Hard on the outside and but soft and gooey on the inside, with a good amount of salted caramel filling.

This is an amazing coffee shop for anyone who wants to take a break from their busy day and unwind with a good...

We visited Hampton & Voúis based on a number of positive reviews on google. We arrived for brunch at around 10am on Saturday, and the place was around 30% full. This was very good for a Saturday. The food here is vegetarian/vegan and therefore halal, unless specified otherwise, and allergies are also taken into consideration.

We were greeted by two friendly members of staff who showed us to our table. There is a QR code on every table, which you scan and access the menu online. Then you simply order at the till and wait for your meal to arrive.

We ordered the Biscoff Pancakes and Avocado on Toast, plus a Golden Chai and Apple Juice. The food arrived not too long after we ordered. My friend said the biscoff pancakes were yummy, but a little too sweet for brunch, and a little dry. But having it with a drink definitely helped. The avocado on toast was delicious. The sun-dried tomatoes were very flavourful, and the little heat from the chilli flakes made this dish very tasty. I regret not getting an additional poached egg on top, as it would have elevated this dish further. The golden chai was delicious, and contained lovely aromatic spices. It was very comforting and warm. It also wasn’t too sweet which was great :D

Overall, we had a positive experience at this food spot. I recommend that customers come during quiet hours, such as brunch time, to get the most out of...

Came with a friend for breakfast. Arrived around 09:30 and it was nice and quiet, just a handful of people present. The decor and layout is nice, with a clean look. The only issue is the fabric chairs at the back. Me and my friend sat down only to realise there was some crumbs and a little bit of chocolate left on there, I wiped it off but with the chocolate smearing on the chair and my hand, had to request a waiter to come and spray it down and clean it. Personally, I'm never a fan of fabric chairs in dining locations. With that aside, we went for the avocado toast with poached eggs, and the olive tapenade with poached eggs. Both served on sourdough toast. The presentation and flavours were incredible. Toast was was thick and crunchy, poached eggs were cooked perfectly with a runny yolk, the olive tapenade had a lovely tang to it, balanced nicely with the ripe, sweet avocados and sun-dried tomatoes. We were a little greedy and decided to share the apple crumble pancakes. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The crumble and apple sauce additions bought a nice sweetness to the dish and a welcomed texture. Overall a surprisingly pleasant and not overly sweet dish! Will certainly return here in the future
