Firstly, this review is about offering meaningful feedback.

The customer service and speed of delivery was good. The quality of food could be much improved if there was a change to the cook. The packaging for the food perhaps needs to be rethinked.

FOOD PACKAGING Upon opening the foil, which was wrapped around the food containers, it was filled with oil and gravy. One tub of coleslaw wasn't sealed properly, which resulted in spillage.

FOOD The rice and peas was nice. The curried goat wasn't fully cooked and it was salty. The plantains were overcooked.

We ordered 4 tubs of coleslaw and received 3. We had read reviews and still decided to give this takeaway a try. Unless the owner starts to consider the feedback that is evidently consistent, I fear the potential of this business won't...

The food we received was nice but they use Just Eat as an ordering and delivery service and there is a problem with the menu. If you order Jerk Chicken from the extras menu then a list of further options also comes up which includes lamb. I ordered the chicken and the lamb but only received the chicken because they don't do the lamb even though you are able to choose it. You don't actually pay for what you don't receive but nonetheless you are expecting it and are disappointed when it doesn't arrive. On speaking to the takeaway they explained that the issue is with Just Eat and not themselves. I find this totally unacceptable. Lisa's Caribbean Kitchen uses Just Eat and is therefore the client. It is not acceptable to wash their hands of it if there is a problem...

Very very very dissapointing, very ignorant, unresponsive and rude on the phone.

I ordered chicken curry and rice, when it arrived neither was it chicken or curry, it was a brown meat with minimal amounts of gravy. Think it was beef, either way it was cold and dry.

I ordered a chicken split which was basically a freezing cold dumplin that had been ripped open and a few strips of chicken in the middle, absolutely drowned in mayonnaise, when they didnt even tell me it was gonna have mayo on, never mind swimming in it.

My other two dumplins was stone cold.

Overall, expensive and very very poor food, not even the quality of food, just the preperation and ignorance, by getting orders wrong and them being cold. The 1 stars...
