EKELIPSE LOUNGE — Restaurant in Manchester

I was in bed when I saw their promotional video and made an instant decision to travel 1h49minutes, 83 miles down the motorway to indulge in that burger platter. My hunger was doing all the talking and thinking as i jumped into fresh garments and filled the car. On arrival, the outside was inviting you to enter. You open the double doors and as soon as you enter, you want to feel home. You head straight for the bar. The Dj was staring and extremely unfriendly to my new face! I brushed it off and was thinking of THAT BURGER!! Got to the bar since I was parched. NO BEER, NO CIDER.... NOTHING! The only draught available is Guinness. Guinness of all drinks!! I settled for a small REDBULL that set aback £3.50! (I kept the can as a souvenir!) I eased myself near the unfriendly dj's booth and relaxed my body in preparation for THAT BURGER!! 3 minutes into sitting, a seemingly disgruntled, no smiling, no serving etiquette waitress stomped to my table and started shovelling cutlery straight whilst placing some cheap plastic "RESERVED" signs in front of me and wobbled off to the bar. In my mind I was wooooow....I get the message!!! UNCOUTHED!! Service- total ekelipse Hospitality - total ekelipse Friendliness and making you feel welcome - TOTAL EKELIPSE!!! Prices - EXTORTIONATE!! If you are from out of town and you want to enjoy Manchester, you are better off at RKRK !! Better add total EKELIPSE to the name as that moniker is appropriate. Respect anyone who walks through your doors to give you business!!!

The level of service I received was not reflective of the prices being charged.

The menu displayed one set of prices, but when the bill arrived, I was charged higher amounts. This is not only misleading but also illegal under consumer protection laws. To make matters worse, the payment card machine was set up in a way that showed only the total cost, concealing the itemized breakdown unless specifically requested. Upon asking for the breakdown, I discovered that the charges exceeded what was clearly listed on the menu.

In addition, even before these discrepancies, the base prices were already higher compared to many other reputable places in Manchester that offer far better.

Overall, I left highly disappointed. They have a responsibility to uphold honesty, transparency, and fair treatment of customers. Unfortunately, my experience here was the opposite, and I would caution others to be vigilant about checking their bills if they choose...

The price on the price list is different to the price taken from my account I requested to speak to the manager,the lady told me.that there was no manager on ground.I then asked to speak to anybody in the management. I was told that the menu list given to customers are old lists with old prices.Interesting.....
