Let me start with I’m an American who recently moved to MCR. My English husband and I had been living in Colorado for 26 years and we LOVE Mexican food. We asked around for recommendations and heard about Listo and came to give it a try. I opted for a bowl and my husband a burrito. Sure, there were obvious differences straight out of the gate. A mix of beans instead of having to choose one (I like!) and crunchy shell bits which I at first thought was odd but I actually really enjoyed. The chicken was seasoned nicely, if not a bit mild, as was the guacamole, but still tasty. The real difference was in the sauces. I found them more on the bbq flavored side than spicy chipotle or Tabasco chili flavored, but again, I still enjoyed the flavors. I will certainly come back and experiment more with the sauces to find the right balance that works for me. I’m used to pretty hot sauces and a true Mexican and Tex-Mex style. For a first visit this was great. Next will be even better as I’ll play with the hotter sauces now that I have a bench mark. Loved the place as a whole. Really clean plus I can walk...
Read moreI love burritos, have always been a massive fan and I have over 30+ orders online with Listo. Sadly the chicken quality just seems to be a little poor nowadays. I have come across several bones which makes biting into the burrito a bit more difficult and less enjoyable as you’re trying to not hurt your teeth. I ordered the food and it came swiftly, but the burrito was sadly very lukewarm in temperature. The chicken strips were lovely, hot and fresh, fantastic BBQ sauce.
Maybe I am comparing too much to Plan Burrito (a fantastic small chain) as the food is good, but it’s just not that tasty. Maybe the temperature of the burrito was a big factor in the flavours all forming together, even the cheese hadn’t melted on the inside.
Good points: Chicken Strips are fantastic and good quality BBQ sauce dip is super
Bad points Burrito temperature inadequate Bones with chicken filling...

The staff are not as friendly as some of the other city centre based burritos places. Was ignored on one occasion when I asked about the choice of sauces available. It must be tiring working in this production line style system, having to ask the same question so many times over the course of one busy lunch - but still disappointing nonetheless.
There's WIFI (need to ask for password). Disabled toilets are available.
Undeniably tasty burritos, but not much atmosphere. At least their ventilation fans seem to work reasonably well and you don't get left with a lingering kitchen smell, which has happened in...
