This was my second experience of visiting this establishment which I'd recommended to my friend (their first time). I rang on 2nd October 2020 to confirm whether a reservation was required due to the recent Covid guidelines. The assistant sounded rushed & said it's been really busy & it's our choice. I opted to make a reservation & we were greeted by a bearded member of staff who informed which table we wanted. We opted for indoors but felt claustrophobic as it was close to another couple. We opted to sit outside instead, the table was dirty, we asked an assistant to clean the table. She replied "have you ordered food?" Bit rude, why else would we be sitting there if we weren't ordering food/beverages? We responded in the affirmative & placed our order which was 2x breakfast brunches @ £8.95 ea plus drinks. The food arrived approx 20 minutes later, served by a surly staff member (have you ordered food) person. What surprised me was there wasn't even a full slice of bacon on the plate. Read moreGreek food is historically poorly represented in the UK, and this is often because great Greek food is, in part, due to the amazing local produce in the Mediterranean. Having married into a Greek family, I've been spoiled with the delicious cuisine over the years and, as a result, have become quite picky when we go out and have Greek food here. Fear not though, this is the real deal. Hidden discretely in one of the less travelled parts of hipster Chorlton the food is well worth making the effort for. Proof really being in the pudding that the wife has been so smitten with the orange cake that she won't try anything else when we come, it having become her special treat when we venture to Manchester to see my relatives. The other food is of equal high quality, and even the music is authentic (not a hint of a stereotypical Sirtaki), although a little Sakis wouldn't go amiss! Prices are pretty good too, especially in the current climate where nothing is cheap anymore. However, judging by how busy it was today, many other people have recognised that this place...
Read moreVery rude staff make you feel uncomfortable kept us waiting eventhough they could see that we was clearly ready to order.
I had to approach them myself for assistance i was then told i would need to order and pay first abruptly.
Yet several people was given table service and not told the same. We was also given several dirty looks.
We have lived in this area for over 20yrs and have several properties here these are just guests majority of people that were actually there are not from the area or renting close by so really dont understand there persona working hard to please them obviously racial profiling.
Shame this business operates in this manner not likely to last. We dont tolerate such behaviour or would be happy to part with our money or recommend them.
To further our disappointment food was bland dry no taste and under cooked wont be using them again...
