Weird one really. The place looks nice, and plenty of wine available, what with being a wine bar. Me and my friend had booked and came here after a meal. It’s very small, and I felt a bit claustrophobic. When ordering 2 cocktails which were labelled on the wall, I told the server I didn’t drink wine - to which I see him telling the owner who shook his head in what seemed like dismay. A friend scoped out Sip on behalf of a group of 8 adults who felt like celebrating a rare occasion together, but Sip refused to accommodate our request despite it being mid-week and us being aware of the lack of wheelchair ramp and offering to bring our own portable one to handle the step. Sip is lovely. Great atmosphere and very attentive staff. One thing I would change though: please offer more vegan food options and a vegan tasting menu. It seems quite odd to offer vegan wines on the vegetarian tasting menu, but then serve it with cheese heavy dishes. It would be great to see more vegan dishes and would treble your customer base through word of mouth. There are lots of vegans in Didsbury and the surrounding areas that would happily spend their money here if there was more choice for them. Other than that, it is well worth...
