Despite what some of the reviews say, this was some of the best northern Chinese (Dong Bei) food I’ve had in Manchester!!

The aesthetic of the place is very true to the vibes in China, some might not like it as it’s just plastic chairs and metal tables but it felt very nice and nostalgic.

The food was incredible, so much flavor, good portion sizes! Not the cheapest ever but for the quality of food I’ll come back any day.

My favorite is the runner bean bean noodles and the stir fried pig intestines.

The menus are only in Chinese so it might be a little difficult for people who don’t speak Chinese, but the staff all speak English and google image translate exists, so it shouldn’t be too hard to navigate!

We had the sweet and sour potato shreds, the twice cooked pork and the spicy brisket rice and it was all amazing. North east crispy meat looks great too so definitely having that next time. There is an english menu but we used google translate on the chinese menu and it worked perfectly to get to the specialties, apart from some slightly off translations. Will be returning...

The food here is quite nice, but there aren’t enough tables and seats, which makes the dining experience quite uncomfortable.

The prices are also on the higher side, so it doesn’t feel very good value for money.

Plus, they only accept cash, which is quite inconvenient.
