We had their sunday buffet yesterday

BAD POINTS not much choice...3 starters which consisted of sliced cucumber and summer rolls with contained crab stick and a weird apple and sweetcorn salad with chilli

mains- 6 choices with 1 veg and 2 rices

all the mains including the curries were luke warm not hot

non of the food was covered and the cold food chilled. god knows how long they were sat at room temp?

The food which was advertised in the photos differed from what was served that night. We questioned this and they said everything is chef specials. What is advertised is hot starters like spring rolls and chicken skewers etc...non of these were on the buffet menu

non of the food was labelled. had no idea what some of the dishes were. from a safety point of view had people from our table been allergic to anything we would not have know which dishes had nuts etc

rice ran out pretty quickly and took 20mins to refill

non of the dishes were topped up automatically (we had to ask and even then small ammount was added) we had pre booked a table of 9... they was expecting us...it was like they wanted us to eat as less as possible?!?!?!

things like the chocolate cake were never topped up for us...when they ran out they just replaced with oranges

when there was an order for takeaway green curry for another customer on the phone the staff just scooped curry from the buffet station into the tray and packed it for the delivery. This meant even less food for us. I would have been disappointed to be given luke warm takeaway curry had I just been the 1 that had purchased that takeaway

the chicken in the curry was very tough

the added 10% service onto our bill without advertising this as out table was for 8 of us.. they advertise as £13.95 but with added service this bumps it up to over £15pp. which is fine. we were planning on leaving a tip anyways this just meant they got less than we had originally planned to leave as this charge was compulsory

4 members of our party felt unwell the next day from the food, we suspect it might have been the foods which were kept at room temperature for too long or simply because the food was lukewarm and sat too long in the buffet station

GOOD POINTS

service was actually not bad considering there was only 2 staff...but they kept eating the food themselves behind the bar during service ( very unprofessional)

the cooked to order soup noodles and pad thai were very nice...especially the soup base

we was not rushed and no time limit was given

the staff are very friendly and attentive

I would give them a 3/10

we would go back for the al la carte food or lunch specials. definitely won't be going back for the buffet. at £15pp there are plenty of other places and different...

We ordered Chicken Green curry with steamed rice, Pad Thai and Thai fish cakes (starter) for dinner. The food was quite disappointing, Thai food is one of my favourite cuisine and I had tried several Thai food in different Thai restaurants, I would say this is one of the worst Thai food that I’ve ever had (sorry). The green curry is very watery, not creamy at all, I could not taste any creamy coconut flavour usually that I could taste in another restaurants. The chicken is rough and possibly it wasn’t fresh, at one point I was thinking was it actually pork instead of chicken?! But it surely was chicken after several bites, the steamed rice is a bit hard, usually Thai fragrance rice is softer and stickier, reasons could be they use lower grade rice or put less water for cooking. I would prefer the curry be more spicy even though I said I wanted it spicy when ordered. The Pad Thai noodles was too sticky, for fried noodles it should not be sticking together but with noodles separated string by strings. The fish cakes tasted ok but I would not order it if I have known the taste. Service is fine in this...

We visited on valentines day about 5.30pm and the place was packed, with people queuing for a table - which is usually a really good sign. We were seated quickly as another party was more than 5mins late, so they gave their table to us. The staff were lovely and the ambiance and decor was great. I ordered a gin and tonic, which came wonderfully presented with juniper berries and cinnamon sticks. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the food and left most of it. My partner had the tofu pad Thai, which barely resembled a pad Thai. The noodles weren't cooked enough, and the whole thing was bland, tough and chewy. I had the egg noodle soup with Crispy pork and pork wonton, it was so incredibly bland. Thai food is supposed to be a balance of sweet, salty, spicy and acidic - there was no flavour at all. Plain noodles in chicken water and some boiled Cabbage. Everyone was also in coats as it was pretty...
