The Freemount - Where Community, Music, and Good Vibes Come Together! Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am absolutely thrilled to give The Freemount a glowing five-star review, and I wish I could give them even more stars! This place is a true haven in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter. Let me share why I hold The Freemount in such high regard! One of the standout features of The Freemount is its consistently fantastic atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the positive energy and welcoming vibes filling the air. It's a place where people come to relax, enjoy themselves, and connect with others. The sense of community that thrives here is truly special. A major highlight of The Freemount is the live music. The talented performers who grace the stage create an enchanting and memorable experience for all. Whether it's soulful melodies, upbeat tunes, or soothing sounds, the music adds an extra layer of magic to the already incredible ambiance. What makes The Freemount even more exceptional is the diverse mix of visitors it attracts. People of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life come together in this welcoming space. It's a place where differences are celebrated, and everyone feels included. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the people you'll encounter are simply wonderful. For me, The Freemount epitomizes the essence of the Northern Quarter. It's a place where anyone can feel at home, a place where the spirit of togetherness and unity is palpable. Whether you're a local or a visitor, stepping into The Freemount is like being embraced by the warmth of a close-knit community. In summary, The Freemount deserves all the accolades it receives. The incredible atmosphere, the captivating live music, and the inclusive community make it a must-visit destination in Manchester's Northern Quarter. I wholeheartedly recommend it! If you found this review helpful and share my enthusiasm for The Freemount, please give it a thumbs-up. Let's celebrate this remarkable venue and the sense of camaraderie it fosters. Five stars are truly not enough to capture the magic of The Freemount! 🌟🎶❤️

Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. Have not been in this non real ale pub in many years but fancied a pint of Guinness. A very good choice. Albrecht had a pint of Estrella. £12.20 for the two pints. A one room pub taken back to the bare brick. A small rear outdoor area. Impressive spirit collection. Very friendly staff. The toucan murals take me back 60 years; we had metal trays with the Guinness toucans when I was a lad. ( sister still has them!) They do have live music. Pipped music was pretty damn good.

Absolute blinding pint of Guinness. I visited at lunch time but the pub has a very cool vibe. I will definitely visit on a Saturday night, I have a hunch that this place would be rocking. Bar staff very friendly & welcoming. Best pint of Guinness I've had in Manchester. Very highly recommend. An easy 5* pub

After an emotional day at my father's funeral I found myself wandering throughout the northern quarter, I was in a fragile emotional state and craved a drink to calm the nerves, as I stepped through the doors I heard the opening notes to Robbie Williams generation defining anthem "angels", this was always a favourite song of my father and so it brought back a rush of warm emotions, these positive feelings were unfortunately quickly replaced with panic as i began to realise they were not simply playing the studio recording through the speakers and had instead booked a band to perform. For the following 4 minutes and 25 seconds they proceeded to butcher a classic song, tears began to slowly stream down my face as I was forced to listen to such a treasured song was desecrated by a band of amateurs with no respect for Robbie's discography. I will never return and I fear I will never be able to listen to angels in the same way again, countless happy memories with my dearly departed father have now been forever soured for me. Guinness was...

I met with some work colleagues here yesterday, a Saturday afternoon. As I was travelling in on the train I was reading previous reviews of this place here on Google and I was wondering why this place had been picked, as some reviews made it sound horrendous.

I can only think that those reviewers had been difficult customers, who subsequently had an axe to grind.

The only thing that I do agree with some of those negative reviews on is that after a while you do notice that it does smell of washing that's been left in the washing machine too long post wash!

This place has really friendly staff and an excellent vibe. A wide selection of beers and spirits, and an excellent music playlist; Wishing - A Flock of Seagulls, followed by April Skies - Jesus and Mary Chain, followed by Say Hello Wave Goodbye - Soft Cell, and a smattering of The Smiths, James, Inspirals etc throughout. I'd return just to listen to the...
