Burger King — Restaurant in Mansfield

The food is decent for the most part. Having not had BK for a while, I decided to sample a few things

Made a visit around 7PM in the drive thru, having ordered in the app. The process itself was very easy, although the drive thru speaker was of poor quality and wasn't quite the easiest to understand at all times. Temps are based on eating after a ~15 minute drive home but should still give an idea of what temperature food is coming out (hotter the food coming out, the hotter it'll be by the time you're home). Other Fast food establishments can provide food warm enough to make it home hot, so the bar has been set for me.

What I ordered Fries - On the thicker side, temp was decent. Could do with more seasoning Chicken nuggets - Good, some of the better ones I've had. Decent temp onion rings - Just barely warm. Rather soggy. Doritos Chilli heatwave chicken fries - Great. Only a tad warm but it didn't detract from the food. Definitely one to polish off your meal with Smokey Bacon Royale - This was the final thing I ate. The temperature was perfectly acceptable, obviously delivered hot.

Service: What few staff I interacted with were fine. However, the restaurant was very quiet, despite this, it was still a good 10 minute wait for my food. All drive thru customers were simply being given drinks and then directed into the car park which strikes me as a tad odd... I'd understand if it were busy and was done to keep traffic flowing... But an empty drive thru? It strikes me as odd.

Place seemed modern. There was some minor things that detracted from the look of the place, but nothing major.

In short: Food taste: Pretty good Food temp: Ranging from passable to decent Service time: Mediocre. Service speed was comparable to what I'd expect at a 24 hour chain at 4AM

In one sentence: Great food, but I'd hate to see the place during a lunch time rush

EDIT: Went a second time and it was an improvement. Service was quicker and the food made it home warm. Seems to be a bit of a luck...

Love burger king but not had for a while so whilst visiting Mansfield decided to treat ourselves, big mistake. Service was atrocious, we decided to eat in so made our way in with two people waiting before us. The person at the till was Marie who seemed to be on her own, she was totally ignoring all of us and just doing drive throu customers so after waiting 5 minutes being ignored we decided to order on the app giving them 5 mins for us to arrive, after 10 more minutes we saw our food being prepared and put onto the hot shelf for Marie to pack for us but she just ignored it and started taking the order for the chap before us whilst we were both waiting, four more people came in, their orders came through so she gave them their's, ours was still waiting there getting colder by the minute, Marie then picked ours up, we got excited, went up to the till but she just put it on the hot shelf below we had been there 23 minutes by this time our food has been ready for 10 minutes so I asked if that was our food she asked what our number was and proceeded to go through the till receipts, found ours and told us we had only been there a minute, when informing her we had actually been here 20 minutes by then she told us we should have told her we were here which no-one else had to do. By the time we left there were about 10 customers being ignored 4 of whom left after us and 1 delivery driver had given up waiting. You really need to sort out your service as this experience has definitely made me think twice before I will use you again. Which is such a shame as the food maybe better than Macdonald's but by the time you get it it's cold and your blood pressure is...

Just been for some food as my daughter wanted it for her birthday. Well the service was terrible it looked like one of the servers was there against her will and never smiled or even greeted the customers. One of the servers spent time looking at her phone and the other one was literally throwing food into bags to the point that they had to take a empty fries pack out of the bag as she threw them in upside down. She also put a drinks cup on the counter but didn’t say who it was for. There were 3 people waiting for food so didn’t know whose cup it was, would have made sense if there was only one waiting. The one serving would do well as a dinner lady in a prison throwing food onto the plate and not caring about the customers or even what they could see her doing.

Our order must have taken have taken 15 minutes to get done was so tempted to tell them to remake the burgers as could see them on the keep warm shelf but thought better of it as the next solar eclipse would come round sooner.
