Ohannes Burger Mansfield — Restaurant in Mansfield

For a start off, we normally order from the Hucknall store, not the Mansfield one. FYI if you want an amazing ohannes burger go to Hucknall! We only ordered from this store due to being at a friend’s house. (These friends had also previously ordered from here and funnily enough did not receive their order).

We placed an order, for four burgers and a portion of chicken. This order was then picked up by a driver, it was in his car for 5 minutes and then was “delivered”. I attempted to call the driver 4 times with no answer, and then called the restaurant to explain the situation. Initially I spoke to a lady who passed me onto her manager to speak to me regarding this situation.

What came of this conversation was that they were unable to send the order out to me, which is very understandable as the resturant itself does not have a driver. I was told I need to get a refund from Uber eats directly and that it was essentially not their problem. I then called back and asked if I would be able to collect my order in person, only to be told that there was “no food to collect”. However I knew this as our order had been sent out and had clearly not arrived. Upon calling back the manager refused to speak with me and instead made a member of staff speak to me, even though I admit at this point I was annoyed. I think this was incredibly poor service and lack of respect from the manager to his member of staff to refuse to speak with me on the phone, and instead instruct his member of staff what to say in response.

We ended up placing the exact same order (for collection). Which makes the efforts of the manager (who said they cannot make our food again) seem completely pointless and to be honest I think we only did it to make a point.

It is incredibly concerning that this appears to be happening to many people (that is that food is being “delivered” and not actually turning up) and think that ohannes burger should probably be doing more to address the issue. Just...

Ohannes Mansfield So sat here for the second time in about 3 weeks..... without having food from this restaurant... wouldn't be so bad but have over the last 8 weeks spent around £700 with this restraint, and only twice has it not turned up, first time after the waitress slammed the phone down after telling me it was a just eat issue I got my food ordered on the spot.. This time I am taking a hands off approach, they again said this was a just eat issue and to call them and cancel the order again, even though they knew it was delivered to the wrong house as they had called in (they told me they knew the order was derived to the wrong house).... to make matters worse they said within 10 minutes they would send out my order again, its now 20 minutes and so making this 1 hour 20 minutes without food..... wouldn't be so bad but when your order is regularly £50+, kind of upsetting that they think this is an acceptable way to treat someone who is a high spender.... So whilst I await my refund, I have just ordered £100 with another restaurant, whilst they are relatively good burgers its not worth the hassle when it goes wrong with this customer as a business owner myself I hate excuses and have a duty to put things right, not lie and give me all the excuses of why this isn't the fault of...

Ordered from here twice now and the food is fantastic. First order was very very late but was consistently updated throughout to say it would be late, and it arrived fresh and hot. It was the weekend so kind of expected. Cheeseburger was brill, particularly like the pretzel bun which is very different. Buttermilk chicken bites very yummy although we didn't realise they came with chips too so had chip overload!

Second order came bang on time and the buttermilk chicken burger was the best chicken burger I've ever had. Huge piece of chicken and super tasty.

Can understand why the chips aren't everyone's cup of tea, they do strike me as just fried chunky frozen chips with some seasoning on. Fresh fries would of course be preferable but they're nice all the same. Deffo won't be our last...
