A Tap House That Sets the Bar High for Brewery Experiences!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars)
I recently visited BuckStar brewery and I must say it is by far one of the best tap houses I have ever been to! From the moment I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the warm and inviting atmosphere, which perfectly complemented the brewery's excellent selection of beers.
The first thing that struck me was the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The passionate brewmasters were more than happy to guide me through the impressive range of craft beers on offer, patiently addressing all my queries and explaining the unique brewing processes. Their dedication and expertise truly elevated my tasting experience.
Speaking of the beers themselves, I was blown away by the immense variety and exceptional quality. From hoppy IPAs to refreshing lagers and rich stouts, there seemed to be a brew to suit every palate. The brewers' commitment to using high-quality ingredients was evident in every sip, resulting in a lineup of well-balanced and flavorful options that left me wanting more.
What sets this tap house apart, besides the exceptional beer, is the cozy and spacious interio. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between rustic and contemporary, combining exposed brick walls, wooden accents, and comfortable seating. Whether enjoying a drink at the bar or relaxing with friends at a table, there was always a vibrant and convivial atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
To my delight, the brewery also goes the extra mile by offering a delectable menu of food options to accompany their beers. From tasty appetizers to mouthwatering main courses, everything I tried was prepared with skill and presented beautifully. The staff was even kind enough to recommend beer and food pairings, which enhanced the overall dining experience.
Finally, I must mention the outstanding service provided by the attentive staff. Their professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for their craft created a welcoming environment that went above and beyond my expectations. From suggesting new beers to providing timely service, they always ensured everyone had a fantastic time.
If you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a great place to relax with friends, BuckStar Brewery is a must-visit. It's clear that this establishment is dedicated to delivering an exceptional brewery experience, and they have certainly succeeded. I'll undoubtedly be returning to explore more of their outstanding offerings. Cheers to the team at BUCKSTAR brewery for setting the...
Read moreVisited for the first time as we wanted to try a new bar/somewhere to have beer.
Entered, were not greeted by any staff members and immediately took a dislike to the atmosphere. It was early on weekend, but there were only 1 other group of people in there. They've made an effort to make the seating/bar area look nice enough however right next to it, in plain view is the rest of the industrial unit which is wholly unappetising to sit next to and see into.
I'd expect bar staff to have a good knowledge on the alcohol sold, as the premise is small and they make it themselves. However, when asked a simple question about which has less hops in it they couldn't tell me as they're only a bartender. Again, being a small independent brewery with only a few products I'd expect staff to be knowledgeable.
On drinking, the evolve lager was horrible, tasted like drinking perfume or soap. Maybe that's a personal reaction my taste buds have with hops, but yuck.
My partner had the Wolverton gin and she told me it tasted of nothing but pure alcohol and...
Read moreVisitor to Wolverton so first time visit to this venue. Such an unusual place to have a bar/tap room. Situated on an estate of small industrial units there is something slightly incongruous about it but that's the beauty of it; as a venue, it really works. The brewery's own beer, of course. Not a huge selection but how many different beers could you drink in one night? For me, being a real ale drinker, I prefer my beer poured from the barrel at room temperature. The beers on offer here last night were well chilled and in cold glasses. Not everyone's choice but it suited the beer they were serving. Friendly staff and lovely home made pizza/ garlic bread/ salad etc. It was a really nice and unusual evening out in Wolverton with family. Only 3* on the atmosphere I'm afraid as there was some live music on which was too loud for us, made conversation difficult at times but other than that an...
