I had high hopes for this place, but sadly, it was a major letdown. The service was incredibly poor and the staff were extremely rude. We came here for my sisters birthday lunch. We booked online for bottomless brunch for 4:30pm. As we arrived we were told brunch ended at 4pm, despite being able to book online specifically for BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH. After 10 minutes they finally agreed to honour this as we had already booked it. Although we did arrive 10 minutes late, we were told this was not an issue. We stated that we would start the brunch at 4.45 but they stated that they were happy to wait for our friend to arrive (who was still running late). Our friend arrived at 5.15 so we completely understood that the overall booking was late. We were fully prepared for them to have started the brunch at 4:45 and we expressed this to them at the time. However, as previously stated they were happy to wait for our friend. This later changed, when we were approached by the manager, not long after. She told us that we were late and that we needed to start because brunch had ended at 4!! Despite our booking not beginning until 4:30. This was a huge mis communication between their staff members as we were told 5 minutes before that they did not mind waiting. The service though out the evening was particularly poor, specifically, I encountered several issues with the attitude and professionalism of the staff, in particular our waiter. We were told numerous times that we only had X amount of time left, due to them being fully booked, despite 7 tables being free around us.
We later had a conversation with the manager and brought up this issue to her. She advised that the service had been ‘quick’ because we arrived late. Your website states that bottomless brunch lasts for 90 minutes. Around 15 minutes before our booking ended, we were told that we needed to leave because a family were waiting to use our table. As previously stated, we would have been happy to move as I am fully aware we were late. However, it felt as if the staff were trying to cause unnecessary problems as there were still 7 tables free around us. We then moved to the tables outside where we were sat for 50 minutes before any one joined our table. Obviously if our table was booked this is understandable but being told this many times took the enjoyment out of our experience. We finally collected the bill where we were surprised to see a £22 service charge for our shocking service. We asked the lady who served us to remove this due to the service and she, maybe understandably, asked why. We explained that the entire experience has been difficult.
We spoke to the manager after this who came up to our table. We told her how we felt that communication was not clear at the restaurant. Whilst we understand we were late, we do not feel that the level of service should be compromised. Considering the prices on the menu (a burger being £19.95) we cannot see that this place could be described as ‘premium’ or worth the amount...

Read moreI'll be honest, the manager Alex saved this from being 1 star completely. The waiter Kay was also great, as was the mixologist.
A waitress there is so rude and patronising she made the service SO bad. I won't further shame by naming her. No training or lied about previous hospitality experience.
We went for a friend's birthday and a table of 6 of us was squashed onto a table of 4. We arrived on time, 8.15 after pushing our table back 15 mins.
Mains didn't get to us until around 10pm when it had turned into a little club, wasn't ideal but we knew this would happen as it's advertised. This is why we booked with plenty of time to eat... We thought.. We had starters that also took a long time to arrive. Grace given to start as it was busy. Prawns were OK. I ordered the fillet steak, it arrived and looked overcooked, the lighting made it look grey. I received my food with the incorrect side, it was also just warm. The replacement fries were undercooked, how?! Everyone had almost finished & we were already delayed. I told her I wasn't happy with the food and why. She rudely grabbed my plate, laughed in my face and said 'you don't pay, you don't eat', and rushed off with a nasty attitude. I hadn't mentioned paying at this point!! Simply told her I can't eat that.
I'm used to Central London dining & paying service charges, so this to me was absurd!
She returned 10 mins later with her phone torch shining on the steak saying it's cooked fine. It was a med-rare when I asked for medium. Not cooked how I asked but definitely not overcooked. I actually apologised for my mistake but confirmed that I still won't eat it. It's now completely cold, been touched up, same bowl of undercooked fries, as well as her shocking attitude, I no longer wanted to eat there. None of us did. THIS is when i said I'm not paying. I also advised that I often review my experiences because it's something I do & she got in my face laughing again, telling me to make sure my review was correct! My friend at this point intervened, telling her to move from my personal space. Not one of our party finished their food due to this. We wasted almost £400 to all leave hungry after a couple of complimentary drinks from management, the bill should have been reduced tbh.
I have posted a review, although the manager tried to help solve this simple because that waitress tried to call my bluff, on top of ruining my friends birthday meal with...
