What a strange, strange place! We had a table booked for 4 people at 6pm and arrived on the dot. As we walked in the host was engaged in a personal (non-professional/work-related) conversation with the security guard. We stood there for minutes, right in front of him as he just pretended we were invisible! It got to the point where the bouncer actually had to tap him and nod to see to us as he was just completely blanking the customers that had walked in and stood right in front of him. Our table was not ready and we were stood in the doorway for around 5 minutes, again we pre-booked and it was not as if we had showed up early as we were on the dot, they were just unprepared. I ordered the no-jito mocktail and it was truly awful, they had gone so heavy on the lime to the point it burned your throat every time you sipped! The server kindly switched it for a better option. The food was pretty poor. The tofu in the tacos was silken rather than firm which seemed like a really poor choice. But more concerningly the avocado maki sushi was mush! It was slimy both outside and inside and literally just disintegrated into a pile of inedible slop when you tried to pick them up with chopsticks. It was obvious they had been prepared earlier in the day and then stored incorrectly, which is very dangerous to do with rice. The server was apologetic and removed the item from the bill but they were truly astonishingly poor. The cherry on top of the evening was desserts. I have took a picture of the dessert menu for evidence. The strawberry mochi states ‘VG’ (vegan) and then next to that ‘D’ (dairy), I asked the server how the item could be both vegan and dairy. She went to check with the chef, came back and laughed “it isn’t vegan, it has dairy in it”, I was so shocked. They have labelled something as vegan that contains dairy! She explained that the chef said that “some vegans have dairy, they don’t eat chicken and stuff but they drink milk”. I kindly had to tell her absolutely not and try to reiterate how dangerous it is to label something as vegan which isn’t, as it could literally kill someone with a dairy allergy. She really didn’t seem to understand the severity of this and just kept stating that some vegans eat dairy… which obviously isn’t vegan! At this point we decided to scrap desserts as multiple of us on the table had allergies and we didn’t trust this establishment any longer. If you have allergies, please, please avoid. Allergies, dietary restrictions and food hygiene seems to be massively lacking here. We paid our over £100 bill but won’t be giving this place another penny. I will be sending the picture of the menu over to the local authorities, so they can have someone sent to investigate this place before someone is harmed.
Edit - After some advice and sharing of this menu/restaurant with the Vegan Food UK Group, many members have made it clear how dangerous this is and the establishment has been reported to Trading Standards. Others have noticed other issues with the menu, such as the churros that apparently have hazelnut in, not having the nut allergen warning. The brownie, according to the menu, has no allergens at all. The custard pancake, according to the menu, is vegetarian and not vegan- however the menu states it does not contain milk or egg (I’m sure it contains both). I don’t know how they have gotten away with these dangerous practices for so long and were so nonchalant when I raised it with them in person and told them straight up they could kill someone, but hopefully the local authorities will take...

We went in for some nice cocktails and dinner for my Sister's Birthday. Expecting a great atmosphere in a chilled environment we were unbelievably disappointed. On first entering the bar we were not greeted at all, not even a smile. Given there was only around 4-5 small tables seated we found this a little odd, maybe we just caught them at a bad time... We found a table and sat waiting to be served, as the rest of the tables had been looked after in this manor we waited patiently for our turn. 10 minutes later and 3 members of staff chatting behind the bar, I went up to the to ask for a food menu and how we order etc. The members of staff left me waiting with no acknowledgement (I was the only person at the bar...) but hey, it's my sisters Birthday, let's enjoy our evening. A young lady came over and asked if she could help, finally! Someone with some customer service. I took the menu's and went back to our table. The young lady then came over and stated that we only had 20 minutes to order... Fair enough it is a Thursday after all however, not mentioned anywhere on their website, menu or on any email correspondence I had with the bar leading up to evening. We finally ordered our drinks and food, she clarified what we ordered and after we double checked if what we ordered was going to be enough for the four of us as we were quite hungry, she went off to put the order through. The whole atmosphere was very ... bland... there was however, a live band setting up in the corner. When they started the music was far too loud and you couldn't hear yourself think let alone what the person sitting next to you was saying. Anyway, still trying to be positive. The food came out and what we received was only half of what we were expecting and lead to believe by the waitress. The manager came over instantly without prompting and asked what we had ordered, we explained that we had ordered 4x platters, he said he would go and sort it... After two of our party tucked in and were half way through I thought I'd better go and check where the other platters were as no one has come back to the table. ''Don't worry I've taken them off the bill'' he says. ''But, we were waiting for our food...'' I said. ''The kitchen has closed, you said you were happy with your food...' he said. Sure, thats exactly what everyone would have wanted, half of their table to eat whilst the others sat there hungry waiting on the rest of the food. To ensure that my sister still had an evening to enjoy we decided to leave and go elsewhere. We paid our bill and left. Once we left I realised that they had only gone and charged us for all of the items, even those we didn't receive and he said were removed from the bill!!! I can honestly say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I will however give them 1 star as the cocktails were nice (you can get the same at 2-4-1 at Las Iguana's by the way and the tapas there was far superior).
TL-DR
Poor service, poor food, poor atmosphere....
Read moreOne of the worst evening of my life. I had 2 tables booked because I had a large group attending (9people specifically) My boyfriend called several times and spoke to a member of staff 3 times just to confirm our tables would be put together and we were to be seated together. The member of staff confirmed via phone. I had booked it in advance because its my 28th birthday and i had people coming in from out of town so I wanted a nice and trendy place to go to.So we turned up and was told to be seated separately (a party of 6 and a party of 3) due to covid rules. No one told us this when we called. So we told them that wasn't the case when we called. Finally he (the manager named Sunny) said if you want to push the tables together you can but when the council turn up its not his problem. We were seated in the middle of the bar. There was a seat in the corner that they could've sat us but gave it away (those people had about 8 or 9 people but were sat together) So after this fiasco me and my friends were trying to have a good time. We ordered cocktails and it was basically juice. It was so watered-down. So I decided to order some wine. Which didn't arrive for another 30 to 40 minutes. The waitress was nice enough. There was meant to be 4 cocktails that was supposed to come but they never did (because they made it and put it in a takeaway cup) Then we were told we'd have to go outside because there was a party that had booked a table for the inside and we'd have to move (and this woman was with her seating chart saying when we booked we only had a 2 hour slot due to government guidelines, bearing in mind a table across us has been there for more then 2 hours yet we were the only one targeted) We were not made aware of the 2 hour slot when we were seated and via the phone (we booked online and confirm via phone) It took them so long to make the drinks and serve our very warm wine. Most of the staff were rude especially the supposed manager Sunny. The only person who was nice enough to listen and helped us out was Jordan Marquis. I would not come back until blossom sort their staff out. Worst night of my life. My birthday was ruined due to all the fiasco. The manager Sunny should not be managing this place. He was very disorganised and rude from the get go. Kept telling us to go outside because the other party have arrived for their table. We still had half a bottle of wine left and 4 of our cocktails have not arrived. O really should've read the reviews and not book it there. Fell for their flower decor but in reality the place is just a big...
