Blossom Room is a stylish and contemporary restaurant located in Milton Keynes, known for its eclectic menu and vibrant atmosphere. I'd say their menu is Asian-inspired as it draws from lots of crowd-pleasers on the menu from different cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.) Atmosphere & Service: The atmosphere at Blossom Room is inviting, with modern decor and comfortable seating. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is prompt and efficient. Food and Drink: The menu at Blossom Room is diverse and innovative, with a range of dishes that draw inspiration from cuisines around the world. The sushi rolls are a must-try, with a variety of fillings and creative flavor combinations. The Korean fried chicken is also a standout dish, with crispy and succulent chicken coated in a spicy and tangy sauce. Katsu Curry was decent, too. In addition to the main dishes, Blossom Room also offers a selection of small plates and sides. The drinks menu at Blossom Room is extensive, with a variety of signature cocktails and an impressive selection of wines and beers. I would recommend the cocktails! Price: Average price, I thought it was reasonable for what we received. Overall, Blossom Room is a great spot for anyone looking for a stylish and innovative dining experience in Milton Keynes. The food is flavorful and creative, the atmosphere is inviting and energetic, and the prices are reasonable. Whether you're looking for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, Blossom Room is definitely worth a visit.

I visited with a friend for dinner a week ago...I was very excited as she had mentioned how beautiful and great their food was. Located right in the centre (the hub) behind browns restaurant and Leonardo hotels in the city. Paid parking is available before 6pm and parking becomes free. The ambience was great, beautiful decor, refreshed bar area...the restaurant is cosy and transformed into a night club from 9pm so if you are only there for a meal ensure your last order is in by half 8 😊 They have SIA guys at the door checking if you have a reservation so ensure you book a table as you will be turned back if you haven't esp Friday till the end of the weekend. The mocktails were really good, the drinks menu has a variety however the food menu was not huge. Vegetarian options are available and the food is not expensive at all. I had the noodles stir-fry which wasn't spectacular but still edible. The prawn gyoza's were tasty and fresh. The staff were attentive and helped with anything we wanted. But we felt a bit rushed as we only had 1.5hrs from the time of order till we left as we weren't there for the night club. Nice spots within the restaurant for pictures 😊 There is a covered outdoor extension for seating and dining. Casual enough and formal enough for different occasions. It's about 15mins walk to the central train station and shopping centre. I would probably visit again to try something else to eat đŸ‘đŸŒ

The food service here is very poor. I visited for a birthday booking over the weekend, and a quarter of the table received their food after a significant delay, while the rest of us were still waiting. When my meal finally arrived, they served the meat first, which went cold by the time I got the rice. The rice was incredibly plain (Tiger prawn rice), and I had to add a lot of soy sauce to give it any flavor. I ordered tiger prawns, rice, and Korean chicken. The chicken tasted like frozen bites from a supermarket, nothing special at all. My sister ordered the salt and pepper wings, and they were fine. However, those who ordered sushi mentioned that the rice was soggy. I also saw someone order a kebab, and I regret not choosing that instead. I’m unlikely to return because the customer service was subpar, and the way they serve food is chaotic. They often shout across the table to ask who ordered what, they shout directly over the plate they are serving, which I found unacceptable and unhygienic at least hold it away from your mouth. Overall, it felt like the focus was more on getting people in, serving them quickly, and getting them out, rather than providing a quality dining experience. For the price, which was fair, you can still find better service elsewhere. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

What a strange, strange place! We had a table booked for 4 people at 6pm and arrived on the dot. As we walked in the host was engaged in a personal (non-professional/work-related) conversation with the security guard. We stood there for minutes, right in front of him as he just pretended we were invisible! It got to the point where the bouncer actually had to tap him and nod to see to us as he was just completely blanking the customers that had walked in and stood right in front of him. Our table was not ready and we were stood in the doorway for around 5 minutes, again we pre-booked and it was not as if we had showed up early as we were on the dot, they were just unprepared. I ordered the no-jito mocktail and it was truly awful, they had gone so heavy on the lime to the point it burned your throat every time you sipped! The server kindly switched it for a better option. The food was pretty poor. The tofu in the tacos was silken rather than firm which seemed like a really poor choice. But more concerningly the avocado maki sushi was mush! It was slimy both outside and inside and literally just disintegrated into a pile of inedible slop when you tried to pick them up with chopsticks. It was obvious they had been prepared earlier in the day and then stored incorrectly, which is very dangerous to do with rice. The server was apologetic and removed the item from the bill but they were truly astonishingly poor. The cherry on top of the evening was desserts. I have took a picture of the dessert menu for evidence. The strawberry mochi states ‘VG’ (vegan) and then next to that ‘D’ (dairy), I asked the server how the item could be both vegan and dairy. She went to check with the chef, came back and laughed “it isn’t vegan, it has dairy in it”, I was so shocked. They have labelled something as vegan that contains dairy! She explained that the chef said that “some vegans have dairy, they don’t eat chicken and stuff but they drink milk”. I kindly had to tell her absolutely not and try to reiterate how dangerous it is to label something as vegan which isn’t, as it could literally kill someone with a dairy allergy. She really didn’t seem to understand the severity of this and just kept stating that some vegans eat dairy
which obviously isn’t vegan! At this point we decided to scrap desserts as multiple of us on the table had allergies and we didn’t trust this establishment any longer. If you have allergies, please, please avoid. Allergies, dietary restrictions and food hygiene seems to be massively lacking here. We paid our over £100 bill but won’t be giving this place another penny. I will be sending the picture of the menu over to the local authorities, so they can have someone sent to investigate this place before someone is harmed.

Edit - After some advice and sharing of this menu/restaurant with the Vegan Food UK Group, many members have made it clear how dangerous this is and the establishment has been reported to Trading Standards. Others have noticed other issues with the menu, such as the churros that apparently have hazelnut in, not having the nut allergen warning. The brownie, according to the menu, has no allergens at all. The custard pancake, according to the menu, is vegetarian and not vegan- however the menu states it does not contain milk or egg (I’m sure it contains both). I don’t know how they have gotten away with these dangerous practices for so long and were so nonchalant when I raised it with them in person and told them straight up they could kill someone, but hopefully the local authorities will take...

So we have GF - Gluten Free, DF - Dairy Free, but for this place we need AAHYWEH - abandon all hope, ye who enter here. We went in for some nice cocktails and dinner for my Sister's Birthday. Expecting a great atmosphere in a chilled environment we were unbelievably disappointed. On first entering the bar we were not greeted at all, not even a smile. Given there was only around 4-5 small tables seated we found this a little odd, maybe we just caught them at a bad time... We found a table and sat waiting to be served, as the rest of the tables had been looked after in this manor we waited patiently for our turn. 10 minutes later and 3 members of staff chatting behind the bar, I went up to the to ask for a food menu and how we order etc. The members of staff left me waiting with no acknowledgement (I was the only person at the bar...) but hey, it's my sisters Birthday, let's enjoy our evening. A young lady came over and asked if she could help, finally! Someone with some customer service. I took the menu's and went back to our table. The young lady then came over and stated that we only had 20 minutes to order... Fair enough it is a Thursday after all however, not mentioned anywhere on their website, menu or on any email correspondence I had with the bar leading up to evening. We finally ordered our drinks and food, she clarified what we ordered and after we double checked if what we ordered was going to be enough for the four of us as we were quite hungry, she went off to put the order through. The whole atmosphere was very ... bland... there was however, a live band setting up in the corner. When they started the music was far too loud and you couldn't hear yourself think let alone what the person sitting next to you was saying. Anyway, still trying to be positive. The food came out and what we received was only half of what we were expecting and lead to believe by the waitress. The manager came over instantly without prompting and asked what we had ordered, we explained that we had ordered 4x platters, he said he would go and sort it... After two of our party tucked in and were half way through I thought I'd better go and check where the other platters were as no one has come back to the table. ''Don't worry I've taken them off the bill'' he says. ''But, we were waiting for our food...'' I said. ''The kitchen has closed, you said you were happy with your food...' he said. Sure, thats exactly what everyone would have wanted, half of their table to eat whilst the others sat there hungry waiting on the rest of the food. To ensure that my sister still had an evening to enjoy we decided to leave and go elsewhere. We paid our bill and left. Once we left I realised that they had only gone and charged us for all of the items, even those we didn't receive and he said were removed from the bill!!! I can honestly say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I will however give them 1 star as the cocktails were nice (you can get the same at 2-4-1 at Las Iguana's by the way and the tapas there was far superior).

TL-DR

Poor service, poor food, poor atmosphere....

One of the worst evening of my life. I had 2 tables booked because I had a large group attending (9people specifically) My boyfriend called several times and spoke to a member of staff 3 times just to confirm our tables would be put together and we were to be seated together. The member of staff confirmed via phone. I had booked it in advance because its my 28th birthday and i had people coming in from out of town so I wanted a nice and trendy place to go to.So we turned up and was told to be seated separately (a party of 6 and a party of 3) due to covid rules. No one told us this when we called. So we told them that wasn't the case when we called. Finally he (the manager named Sunny) said if you want to push the tables together you can but when the council turn up its not his problem. We were seated in the middle of the bar. There was a seat in the corner that they could've sat us but gave it away (those people had about 8 or 9 people but were sat together) So after this fiasco me and my friends were trying to have a good time. We ordered cocktails and it was basically juice. It was so watered-down. So I decided to order some wine. Which didn't arrive for another 30 to 40 minutes. The waitress was nice enough. There was meant to be 4 cocktails that was supposed to come but they never did (because they made it and put it in a takeaway cup) Then we were told we'd have to go outside because there was a party that had booked a table for the inside and we'd have to move (and this woman was with her seating chart saying when we booked we only had a 2 hour slot due to government guidelines, bearing in mind a table across us has been there for more then 2 hours yet we were the only one targeted) We were not made aware of the 2 hour slot when we were seated and via the phone (we booked online and confirm via phone) It took them so long to make the drinks and serve our very warm wine. Most of the staff were rude especially the supposed manager Sunny. The only person who was nice enough to listen and helped us out was Jordan Marquis. I would not come back until blossom sort their staff out. Worst night of my life. My birthday was ruined due to all the fiasco. The manager Sunny should not be managing this place. He was very disorganised and rude from the get go. Kept telling us to go outside because the other party have arrived for their table. We still had half a bottle of wine left and 4 of our cocktails have not arrived. O really should've read the reviews and not book it there. Fell for their flower decor but in reality the place is just a big...
