Nestled in the heart of our bustling town, this gem of a café is a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike. Upon stepping inside, you're immediately greeted by an atmosphere that's as warm and inviting as the aromas of artisan coffee that fill the air. It's the kind of place where the genuine friendliness of the team makes you feel right at home, setting the tone for a truly delightful experience.
The coffee here is nothing short of exceptional, easily the best I've tasted in the area. Each cup is crafted with such precision and care, it's clear that the team here isn't just making coffee; they're creating art. The flavours are rich and robust, a testament to the high-quality beans and the skill of the baristas who brew them. It's a coffee lover's haven, where each sip is a journey of discovery.
But it's not just the coffee that makes this café stand out. The light bites on offer are equally impressive. The salmon and cream cheese bagel I had on my visit was simply delightful. The bagel itself was perfectly toasted, providing a satisfying crunch that gave way to the soft, creamy filling. What elevated the experience, though, were the little differences that this café prides itself on. The accompanying dressed salad was a refreshing touch, a thoughtful addition that transformed a simple bagel into a meal.
The team's knowledge and passion for what they do shine through in every aspect of the café. From the carefully curated coffee selection to the thoughtful presentation of the food, it's clear that this isn't just a job for them; it's a calling. They're not just serving customers; they're sharing their love for great coffee and food, making every visit a memorable one.
My only reservation in sharing this review is the selfish hope that this café doesn't become too popular. It's a place where the hustle and bustle of the outside world seem to fade away, a cozy sanctuary for those in search of great coffee, delicious bites, and a friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a local café that truly stands out from the rest, look no further. This is a spot where passion, quality, and warmth converge, creating an experience that's not...
Read moreBen and the the team are doing some great work at Piccoloco! Everytime I visited my Mum, I always make an effort to go there.
The food is great and so is the coffee. Recently, Piccoloco start roasting throw own coffee and it's very good. Not only that, buy they also have an excellent selection of roasters on rotation.
I've enjoyed my espresso, milk drinks, and my pourovers. I don't eat as much as I drink, so I'm usually only there for coffee. However, we've been for a few family breakfasts there and they have always been spot on.
Although Piccoloco do have the fancy coffees on the bar, they also have standard house blend and syrups, etc. Its much better than the chains in the area and they are a busy little spot.
Recently, I've seen a few public events at Piccoloco. Music nights, coffee tastings, and more. It's great to see them getting involved with the...
