Had a cracking visit to Greggs the other day, and I’m still buzzing about it! Their sausage roll is an absolute belter – flaky, golden pastry with a proper savoury filling that hits all the right spots. I grabbed a steak bake too, and my word, it was piping hot and packed with flavour, like a hug in pastry form. The vibe’s dead cheerful, with the staff proper quick and always up for a bit of banter. SLOWEST service ever. Today as an example one of the staff put in a cheese toastie to be heated and stood there and watched it for 3 minutes instead of serving other customers. You can stand for at least 10 minutes before being seen as they are either talking amongst themselves or doing nothing.
