Very disappointing pizza. This is the first time I've ordered from here and I had high hopes, however the pizza I received was appalling. It was stone cold and in one way very dry, and in another swimming in grease. There was hardly any cheese on the pizza and way too much sauce. The herbs were not fresh and had a grittiness. It was shared by three of us and we all thought it was an incredibly poor pizza. I've ordered another takeaway from somewhere else to make up for this very disappointing experience. Edit: This was ordered via Uber. There is clearly no point in contacting your staff about it because I can see in your reply to another customer that it is Ubers problem once it leaves your restaurant - since they were no help, I very rarely use Uber now. Your review responses are appalling. Perhaps you should get a third party to manage this so you stop being so unpleasant to customers. Further edit: this is not an attack on you, it is a fair review of the appalling meal I received from your business. All my reviews are fair and based on genuine experiences and others will see that there is a mix of good and bad reviews depending upon my experiences. This one is even backed up by a photo of the disappointing article that I paid your company in good faith to make in your restaurant and for UberEats to deliver. You accuse me of being rude, however I was initially taken aback by being berated for having the audacity to leave an honest review. I have reread my comments above and worry that you must be extremely sensitive if you think I was being rude and perhaps you're not the best person to handle reviews and customer service for your business. Your response is extremely unprofessional. You are telling a paying customer off for sharing their honest opinion. This is the purpose of reviews. I understand this business is 'your baby' and that sometimes the truth hurts. You must learn to handle criticism better and to respond to reviewers in a more professional manner. I'm sure others reading will agree that you have acted very unreasonably. It is unfair of you to place the blame for the quality of your food on UberEats. It took them less than 10 minutes to deliver the pizza and clearly there was a quality control issue that caused you to allow a substandard pizza to leave your restaurant. To reiterate my previous points "It was stone cold and in one way very dry, and in another swimming in grease. There was hardly any cheese on the pizza and way too much sauce. The herbs were not fresh and had a grittiness.". It may be fair to an extent to blame UberEats for the temperature of the product, but what about my other points? I doubt very much that the driver interfered with the ingredients. The moment you become defensive with a disappointed customer, is the moment you've allowed your better judgement to be clouded and the moment you've lost. When I initially left the review, I expected an apology, not an attack.

A great place for a quick slice of pizza and a pint on a night out! No real queues or waiting and delivery service is available. For £20 You can get yourself a big pizza and a pint to go alongside it which is really good value for a city center, I could see myself ending up here again at some point on a night out. Fairly fast service and a reasonable prep time for food, no problems or qualms aside from maybe the lack of seating, but then again the space available isn't big enough for lots of seating so I can't fault this place, just be prepared to stand or find a bench. Being located on the river edge this really isn't much of an issue anyway, the views of the famous bridges are great and there is plenty of seating in the local area to enjoy you food at. There is also a great selection of ice cream sundaes as well as a selection of chicken wing varieties if you are looking for a smaller snack or a way to cool down on a hot day. 5/5 If you want a quick bite and a pint then check this place out.

Visited on a Bank Holiday Monday evening. Great location on the Quayside. Menu had lots of shakes and drinks and sundaes, I just got a 14" NY Cheese Pizza and a coffee. Pizza was freshly made to order so perfect temperature. There is the option of buying by the slice or a 14" or 20". The base is a traditional NY style thin base. I took my order and sat outside with a fantastic view of the TyneBridge and Quayside. Inside is very small and while you can sit, you end up surrounded by people waiting for their order. They have an outside table or there are pic ic benches next to the Tyne. Coffee was a bit bitter tasting and quite small for a price of £4. Would definitely get the Pizza again(although probably just a couple of slices rather than attempting a whole one!), but would give the coffee a miss. There are other takeaway coffee places on the same block I would go to instead. No napkins available which is a bit of a pain when you are buying food to eat with your hands!

Went on one of the incredibly hot days, in particular, for some ice cream to cool us down. My family and I decided to get a pizza to share as well as an ice cream each. The pizza was fairly large, but it was incredibly bland. I found the price to be quite expensive, although the slices and deals they did seemed to be a good value. We got a plain cheese and I found the cheese to be very overpowering, although my sister said that there wasn't enough so. The sauce was bland and chunky, the base being the only part that was enjoyable. The pizza was not appetising at all and I burnt my hand on it after waiting for it to cool down for 20 minutes. Not to mention, the pizza came with a paper tray beneath it that melted under the heat and soon attached itself to the base of the pizza, essentially becoming inedible. We proceeded to buy the ice cream, I got a half and half chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The chocolate was very nice, but the vanilla had lumps in the ice cream, a horrible texture, and I could not finish it. The cone was also very thin and fell apart very easily. We waited for a long time to find a table, sitting outside for only a minute or two with the petrol fumes in the air ruining our appetites and running back inside to share a table with 3 other guests. The location is nice alongside the river, but the parking is limited and overall, we found it hard to find the entrance. The staff were very nice and helpful, filling up my bottle with some water for me, however, seemed to be struggling under the intense heat too, which albeit not a solvable issue, meant a slow service. The walls inside were dreary, perhaps the style that was being delivered, but I found it to be off-putting, the decoration is quite nice inside though on the whole.

I would not recommend the food here at all, as nice as the staff and atmosphere is, I did not enjoy it and would not return after my first experience.

However, I should note that my other family found the place very welcoming and much better than I did and as such I cannot say that it is not worth at...

2 weary travellers who had seen several YouTube video reviews of this Newcastle Quayside establishment, wandered in to see what all the fuss & rave was about and the video reviews as great as they were, didn't do the service, hospitality, friendliness enough justice because these 2 lads were absolute diamonds!

Helpful, great advice... Even took pity on our what was by then 30hr+ journey with a strong on the house black coffee which was gladly accepted believe me!

Chose 3 varieties of huge pizza slice toppings, 3 different dipping sauces (recommended by the hosts and delicious indeed) and all consumed/devoured back at the hotel with much enjoyment! Outstanding flavours, the crisp base and oodles of topping made this a pizza to truly enjoy and remember.

I love my pizza, a real foodie I am, fortunate to have tried so many around the world and 'I Scream For Pizza' without doubt ranks in the best nominations I've had the pleasure to sample and cannot recommend enough that you support and sample not just such amazing pizza, but also the warmest of welcomes and stellar service you will undoubtedly receive.

We will...
