Pizza Hut Restaurants The Gate Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Pizza Hut. Upon arriving, I took a seat, placed my order using the QR code, and paid my bill online as it was supposed to be. I also requested tap water, but the staff member refused to serve it until I place an order and pay —despite the fact that I already had. I had to wait 20 minutes and kept requesting for water couple of times before finally receiving the water, which was frustrating as I was extremely thirsty.

Later, the same staff member approached our table, doubting that I had paid and making me feel as if I was trying to eat for free and get away with it. This was completely unnecessary and humiliating, especially in front of my wife. She rudely demanded bank proof of my payment, and I had to show her a bank notification on my personal phone confirming it before she was finally satisfied. After she saw the notification, she claimed that their system wasn’t working, yet every other customer seemed to have no issues, making it clear this was just an excuse.

The overall experience was disappointing, and I did not enjoy my time there. The saff member was very rude, racist and need to learn some manners on how to speak to customers. The poor service and lack of professionalism made it an experience I would not...

I don't think I've ever left a bad review before but I feel the need to on this occasion. Yesterday evening my girlfriend and I were on the way back to Edinburgh and stopped off at this pizza Hut restaurant, the service wasn't great, but we weren't too bothered by that, the salad tasted old and a bit gone off, when we got our pizza it smelled and tasted funny, but we continued to eat it anyway, not being the type of people to complain, we both started feeling a bit unwell after the second and third slice. We finished up and left and were not even 5 minutes out the door when I felt very unwell and ended up vomiting everywhere ON THE STREET! My entire meal ended up splattered on the footpath while everyone looked, my girlfriend didn't vomit but has felt very unwell since eating her meal, May I also add that she is pregnant and must be careful with what she eats, which means Eaton anything bad can be very dangerous to the baby! We have been regular pizza Hut customers for a long time, but after what has happened to us, I don't think I'll ever be able to eat at the...

Hmmn well Pizza hut in general is kind of a throw back to the 90s where it was the main place to get a slice. Nowadays there are a lot better restaurants and chains out there to go for Pizza... I guess Pizza hut is nostalgic and you think its gonna be like when you were a kid and your first discovered the Ice cream factory......Its just not like that any more.

But I will say there was nothing wrong with the Pizza I had here. It came hot and was nice, it was exactly what you'd expect from pizza hut, nothing more nothing less. The service and staff are still friendly and helpful.

This branch really needs to be updated though ...you walk in and it just looks dated and worn and I mean everything the eye can see is dated and worn which is off putting and it straight away makes you regret choosing this eatery which is a shame.

I actually just feel sorry for Pizza hut, I feel its kind past its prime and its probably headed the way blockbusters did..... who knows maybe a drastic revamp and a more modern approach could prove me wrong.
