I thought I’d stepped into an episode of Fawlty Towers. The restaurant manager had her own ideas about how service should be handled. We were short on time but after 30 minutes waiting we were told that we couldn’t order until our drinks had arrived otherwise ‘we might mess everything up’ the young staff were struggling as it didn’t look like they’d received any training. I had Sunday lunch yesterday with friends. The food was very good. The service was outstanding. Janet made sure we were all very happy with each course. We enjoy this restaurant as we can retire to the next room relaxing with teas coffees etc. Everything clean and tidy. Unfortunately the new car parking rules could have an effect on whether we re-book this restaurant for our future...

Linked to the hotel here. I had to stay there for a month for a work training course. Staff were great and the food was also fantastic. We didn't have to pay for the food as it was provided by the company so I cannot comment on the price etc.
