Not all sandwiches are created equal!

Passing this shop for the first time I feared the worst... Vintage styling, trendy name, chap with a beard behind the counter... I expected overpriced, style over substance, hipster nonsense. Definitely not the case!!! Very reasonable prices for what can only be described as the greatest sarnies in the known universe! Delicious hunks of bread, generous helpings of chunky, fresh fillings and all customised to your preference without the put out faces some sarnie shops adapt. I totally love it. It's not a cheap option but you get something freshly prepared and tasty. Halloumi and Falafel wraps and boxes are my favourite and you can add all the salad items you like. They do lovely Block & Bottle sausage sandwiches in the morning too...as well as good tasting Pilgrims Coffee from Holy Island.

I'd recommend ordering ahead through the link on their website as it can get busy around the usual break times.

Had my first sandwich from here today and it was truly stellar. Ruben on seeded white. The bread bun was gorgeous - nice and chewy with real substance and that salad with the mint in lifted the whole thing, so fresh. Just an amazing sandwich, probably the best I have ever had.
