The almond croissant was frankly, disgusting in all the right ways. Huge, covered in sugar toasted almonds, filled with almond paste and warmed to just the right temperature. The nicest one I have ever eaten and all others will now pale into insignificance as a result. Coffee was delicious and carefully prepared. Staff were friendly and there seemed to be a lot of regulars (which is nice) and a baby group in the quiet section out the back. The only downside is it is not near my house. Mind you, I'd be the size of said house if this place was! And so would my dog for that matter. Would 100% recommend after a stroll...

One of the best coffee shops in Heaton, if not the best! This hidden gem has some of the best made milkshakes and is such a nice place to sit quietly and enjoy a drink while reading a book or simply watching the time go by. Very friendly staff with a lovely atmosphere, just walking into this coffee shop you immediately feel at ease.
