Popped in ad hoc without booking and were accommodated with a table. Happy days.

Unfortunately there was a large group in the back room near us & the noise was deafening. Literally couldn't hear each other. Other tables looking over at the group obviously hoping they would realise but sadly not

We spoke to the waiter about the noise however it continued. I don't know if the group were actually spoken though to be fair.

During the main course, the waiter said he had spoken to the manager & asked if we would like a table in the front dining area away from the party. As we were nearly finished our food at this point, we declined & plodded on.

We finished our food & asked to be moved which again was accommodated.

The food was decent, king prawns & Arancini to start. Salmon steak & chick Kiev for main & 2 bottles of Malbec. Bill came to just over 100 quid so not too badly priced.

The waiter was really nice & to be fair, this probably is a really nice restaurant but my experience won't see me going back in a hurry simply due to the noise and what appeared to be a lack of assertiveness from manager to deal with the situation and consider the impact on all other...

I hadn’t visited this place in about 15 years as I moved from the area. So when my son wanted to buy me lunch on the quayside, I thought of Uno’s straight away. I used to come here all the time 30 years ago and loved it. We went on a Monday afternoon just in time for the lunchtime special, 3 courses for just £13.95. Normally these offers mean smaller portions, cheaper ingredients or hide and seek with the meat. Not this place! Our three courses were glorious. Potatoes skins nice and crispy, delicious chicken wings (a tad over cooked), a delicious carbonara with literally half a pig in it 😂, spag Bol…followed by a yummy sticky toffee pud. I can honestly say it was better than meals I’ve had a neighbouring Queen Street higher end eateries. My son has lived near the quayside for three years and I was shocked to find he had never eaten here. After today I suspect he will be here every week. It was quiet but it was about 3.30pm when we got there and I can imagine it being very popular on an evening. Friendly attentive staff and the decor is welcoming. All in all great experience and we will both be back. Photos are not the best due to the...

The food and table service were nice, I would give a 3-5 stars for them. Unfortunately, when we paid the bill at counter, the staff kept joking on us: ‘I already forgot you were still here’, ‘did you come from breakfast?’, ‘we do serve breakfast, you can stay to tomorrow morning’, ‘sorry, we have to add up service fee, because you have stayed over 2 hours’… I tried to change topic, and asked if they do student discount. The guy was like: ‘do I look like a student? I’m not a student’. This is not answering my question, but looks unprofessional and impolite with all the ‘long stay’ jokes. I really got upset, and had never been so embarrassed in any restaurant before. We arrived around 6pm, because it was our first time there, we spent a bit long time on food decisions, we ordered around 6.30, and had 2 drinks for each of us. We paid the bill around 8.30pm. There was no one waiting for tables and we never told that our table was booked by none. It may be out of my innocence, that I never knew people would be judged and played impolite jokes if stay in a restaurant over 2 hours under this kind of situation. Good luck with the jokes, would...

We booked a table for 8 for joint birthday celebrations for my Mam & Step dad on a busy Friday night. The place was fully booked up when we arrived but this has zero impact on the fab service we received. We were all well looked after from the moment we arrived - ensuring drink orders were taken regularly along with respecting us with time to decide on our choice of food. There’s a fantastic choice of both drinks and food to choose from. We were also able to make adjustments to our main meals when it came to ingredients which is great! We all had a mix of starters ranging from the black pudding, potato skins, garlic bread and a mix of pizzas and pastas between us for our meals. No complaints from anyone as our food was absolutely perfect. The only downside is if you visit when it is busy, it gets very noisy from everyone talking and having a good time. But other than that… service was great, food was delicious and the overall atmosphere was brilliant. We had a fantastic evening as a family celebrating and all left absolutely stuffed!

Overall, good value restaurant with friendly service. Food was mixed. Food - mussels, arancini and breads to start. Mussels were the best with a rich sauce nicely seasoned. Arancini was good (3 different flavours) however 2 of them were a little dry. Surf and turf was nicely cooked, and the meat was good quality. Pizza was ok - base was a little doughy for me and the balsamic glaze overpowered all other flavours in the pizza. Kids carbonara was good, margarita pizza was once again a bit doughy. Side of fries were not worth it, undercooked and floppy. All dishes presented well. Service - service was friendly and drinks were delivered quickly. Despite being busy, there was not a long wait for food. Did forget a side salad and also a steak knife, but minor points. Atmosphere - nice surroundings and decor. Bustling restaurant but not so noisy you could hold a conversation. In conclusion, nice restaurant, good price point, but have had better Italian meals.
