First and last kaspas experience Saturday 29.08.2020 I tried calling to check if we had to book a table or not. No answer. Upon arrival the place was deserted which begs the question why did nobody answer the phone ? Having never been to Kaspa's before, I didn't know what to expect. However front of house service was non existent. She was immature, unprofessional and quite obviously didn't want to be there. We were shown to a table where the light fixture was broken and hanging down right next to our faces the entire time. Front of house didn't explain anything to us about how it works and what we were meant to do, and no instructions on their covid guidelines. We sat and picked our desserts then having had to ask what to do we headed to the counter to order. The gentleman behind the counter was slightly more professional than the front of house only by a fraction. He took our order and we sat at the table for 50 minutes before asking if we could change our order to take away as we had been sat there so long to which they replied wasn't a problem because they hadn't even plated our food up yet. The front of house girl was rude and abrupt and definatley needs lessons in meeting, greeting and customer service. In total we were at Kaspas for over an hour before we eventually got our food that we had decided to eat at home. The restaurant at most had 8 customers including ourselves so wasn't even busy. Food was nothing to sing about. To call yourselves "The king of desserts" gives a false impression compared to what...

Ordered: Two hot drinks, banoffee crepe, maple syrup and cinnamon waffle, banoffee soft cookie dough, bubblegum gateau, vanilla cheesecake between us.
Service: 5/5
From arriving the staff, especially the man behind the counter, we're extremely friendly. Not over cumbersome in their interactions, but enough to make sure you know they're there and your welcomed. Definitely give approachable feeling.
Food: 5/5
Wow! The food was brilliant! Both myself and friend were blown away with the cookie as well. So much that the cake at the end was a slight let down. However there is no denying that the food at Kaspas really hits the right spots on your taste buds.
Cleanliness: 5/5
Really clean. No mess on the tables or floor. Staff make sure to clean the table after removing plates once customers vacate seats.
Design: 5/5
The hot pink and black design is eye catching, fresh and combined with the glittery pillars, give a great fun impression that screams 'This place...
Read moreDo not get takeaway from this place! Me and my partner love a Kaspas. We stopped off to grab a takeaway as we didn't fancy sitting inside. It took 25 minutes for our order to be ready! When we got home and opened them up, the 'extra toppings' that cost £1 a piece were barely anywhere to be seen! I always order the same thing so I know what it should look like. My waffle should've been drowning in sauces but, instead 1/4 of my waffle was bare and the rest had barely anything on.
Infact, when you sit in the restaurant to eat, there's always more sauce than when you have a takeaway. Why is that? It seems to be a trend we've noticed. We won't be ordering takeaway from them again. Havent ordered inside this location yet to comment on that.
The waiting area is next to the ice cream display. That whole display looks like it hasn't been cleaned for over a week. There's smears all over the glass, inside and out and the glass doors their side they use to access the ice cream...
