I placed an online order at 6.10, with a guy Adam that happily took my order, as i sit and wait with two children awaiting dinner and both with additional needs!! Come 7.10 i call again for a follow up to see where my kids food is, he said im second on list for delivery, i said could you not of kindly informed me of the lenghty wait?? His response "What you want me do about it?" How disgusting!! So i ring back again still no delivery at 19.40. 2 kids waiting, Like this is not acceptable, spoke to same guy Adam, so rude and discusting towards customers!! Was very Rude said Delivery driver here do you want it or Not i said yes of course if you understand kids with additional needs and them knowing delivery driver coming u would understand!! No Understanding!! Disgusting Human response from this guy! Kept saying what you want me do about it. Traffic??? Mind u all town closed š¤š¤At 7.50 i recieve my order delivery driver so lovely yet dealt with myself an angry mother and understood me, and knew this was not acceptable, and said Sorry. I then open my order and my daughter recieved a rubber burger not worth eating, Chips stone cold lieing in a bag, DISGUSTING VILE!!! I have ordered every Saturday night from here! Defiently 100% lost my custom!! Teach your staff...

He was going to order a taco chip but Fiona (the cashier) had suggested the chicken burger and chicken pieces so he scrapped the taco chip and got a chicken burger, super chip their special chicken gravy sauce and a strawberry milkshake & I got the 2 piece chicken, chips, special chicken gravy and a choc milkshake⦠itās was SOOOO good! Itās almost like KFC but a little bit healthier, I donāt know if itās an insult or compliment describing their food as KFC I suppose itās subjective to the eater but it was soo good! Their gravy was delicious. Not going to lie their milkshakes werenāt all that but their food defo out weight the milkshakes.. the woman who works their called Fiona was so so lovely! We probably will be back as we failed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom Friar Tucks opened sometime in the 1980's I've been a regular customer and when I lived away it was always my first stop when the bus arrived into Newry. In all them years I've only ever asked for one thing and that's what originally Friar Tucks became famous for and that was a Chichen Burger with PLENTY. The plenty means plenty of coleslaw as it's the best your going to get and the Chichen Breast Burger is top class chicken in a bap. If you want the meal deal it's chips and a drink added and the chips are lovely. Recently they are using eco friendly packaging which is good to see. I'm sure there are loads of really good bits on the menu but sorry to say I've never tried them as it's that Number 1 Meal for me. Don't take my word for it try yourself you won't be...
