I love Magees...because I used to drink a Bottle of Monk Export here in 1973 ...46 yrs ago...served hy Nigel....In 1974 ..76..77 I enjoyed newry darts league finals getween ..magees and ..Mckeowns Camlough Now in the Capable Hands of his bro Ciaran....and his wife ...Both understand the business...Well Done...Ready to visit there soon...From all at the yellow Heifer...

This is a great bar. It doesn't look much from the outside, but when you enter, you find a clean well run bar with great staff and a great friendly atmosphere. Brilliant jukebox. There is a lovely outside area at the back where you can smoke. Even if you don't smoke, It's so nice and we'll kept that I am sure during the warm weather...

This is a nice pub, but i couldn't help notice the faint smell of corn permeating across the premises. The bar staff were kind and jovial to begin with but as the night drew on they couldn't cope with demand of the customers and become quite frustrated and clueless. I am disappointed that the staff seem conpetent but can not deliver...
