Hahaha what can I say, went here this morning, absolutely a joke 🤣 staff was polite and friendly, very unorganised, tables felt sticky when you rest your arms on it , lifted my arms up from resting on it there was a unpleasant feel ( not cleaned properly) service was very very slow waited 30 minutes for breakfast to be served, tables had used plates and cups on there that was not cleared away before other customers came in , coffee was served pretty quick 1 slice of toast come out 5 minutes before breakfast cone out , it was rock hard if you didn't eat it before you was served breakfast. My wife had a mini breakfast £7,50 including 1 slice of toast ,it was served to her on the smallest plate you could imagine Hahaha it was joke / laughable it made my day Hahaha wife wasn't happy I ordered cove breakfast with extra sausages £11,50 ...WOW could not belive my eyes it was all crambed up on a very small plate, a child's plate no joke , sausages was tasty , bacon was overcooked you could throw it at a wall it would shatter , hash brown was burned ,... overall very extortionate prices for what you get not value for money do not understand how they get away with it .1 bitten twice shy will not be returning in near future which is a shame. If I'm honest the weatherspoon around the corner does a better breakfast for half the cost . Good luck in the future

We visited Ilfracombe around New Years with some friends, and had to pop into this Cafe twice! First time round I had the large breakfast (sorry can't remember the nickname you give it!) which was a really cracking full English. Portion wise it was big even for a 'big' full English, but still pretty reasonable value. Sausages were a particular highlight.
On our second visit I restrained myself a bit and went for the smaller breakfast option, which was equally as delicious. Staff were really friendly - we had a great chat with the gentleman (can't remember his name unfortunately - retired teacher) and the ladies behind the counter, who are now off enjoying a well earned trip to New Zealand.
Overall a really nice environment to enjoy a great breakfast, thanks...
Read moreWhen Pete was cooking this was a great breakfast , I've been here three times now and the first two I put down to them being pretty busy , but this time on a quiet Thursday it was just really poor, too many staff, I counted five! Who were constantly bringing in god knows what from outside, when concentrating on the cooking should be a priority , the egg was hard , cold beans and the sausage that used to be really good was Luke warm and tasted like wet bread, no toast or tea was added for £13, we spent nearly £30 on two really poor breakfasts , and before the response of you should of told us comes ????, I asked the girl why everything was tepid, the reply was ; sorry we are really busy today , er!! no you weren't , there were more staff then customers , I understand businesses need to make money, but this is too expensive for low...
