A group of us girls visited today to meet with friends. As we left we paused to read the sign about the bin to see what we could put in it. Before we put anything in the bin, the male member of staff quite literally accosted us out of the blue, telling us to take our rubbish ā€œand our attitudesā€ with us, and actually SHUSHED us when we asked him perfectly politely what the problem was. I’ll make this completely clear - at NO point did we try and put anything in the bin, nor did we have any such attitude, until the point that this ā€˜man’ decided to speak to us like dirt. It is quite clear that he has an issue with women in particular. He was incredibly rude and aggressive, we were all very shocked at his outburst. To the point I actually wouldn’t bother returning. It’s a shame as the girls working at the cafe were very attentive when we made purchases. But he was a disgrace. Exercise caution...

Pretty much perfect. A lovely little location, partially sheltered by the cliffs and with just four tables in front of the shed-type building. It's all lifted up over the shingle and shell-fragment beach, overlooking the water between the cliffs and slate monoliths upon which tourists climb for a dramatic panoramic. To sit there and eat really feels like being on holiday. As for the food, it's very good. The Argentinian ciabatta with beef, onions, peppers and more was absolutely delicious. We went back on the same day for the Sri Lankan curry, which wasn't presented so well but was very tasty; well balanced spices and perfectly crunchy veg. Can't recommend highly enough if you're...

Go get the curry!!! You will not regret it. Where else can you get proper curry on the beach with proper cutlery? Plus, you can literally eat it ON the beach if you want to. And this isn’t just your average curry, this is out of this world tasty curry. I may even venture to say it’s the best curry I’ve ever had. And the best part is that my friend who’s gluten and dairy free was able to eat it. Plus, they had a gluten and dairy free ice cream that she could eat! This was very exciting as it’s usually very hard for us to find a place where she can get a good meal and a good dessert that align with her special diets. I would honestly give this place more than 5 stars if I could....

It's a bit of a hidden gem this one. If the weather is right you're in for a great sunset and if the sea is calm it's even better. We went there for the food but didn't expect it to have such an amazing setting. The curry and rice was great and finishing it off with a tub of local icecream what could be better, we had the tubs of salted caramel icecream = so tasty. There's parking on the roadside ( don't forget to pay ) and a short walk down to the beach. Well worth the trip. The beach is dog friendly but please keep them on their lead and pick up any dog waste to dispose of. You have to go there if you like your sunset photo opportunities.
