This place has become our daily habit 😅 Even our kids don’t complain, today they just walked in as we passed, without us having to let them know! I was tempted to give a 1/5 to dissuade others, incase we can’t ever find a spot 😂 Super nice place, relaxed with really lovely staff and fantastic coffee. The vegan chocolate orange slices are amazeballs! The coconut bircher isn’t too far off what it should be like (from the continent) and it’s by far the best I’ve had in the UK!

This was hands down the best decaf coffee I have ever drunk. It was as fruity and full-bodied as caffeinated coffee, I was convinced it was in fact caffeinated and expected to feel a caffeine head rush but no, it was in fact decaf. Very high quality beans freshly grounded for impeccable decaf results. Also very lovely staff, nice chilled vibe inside. I’m very sad that I was only in the area on holiday and therefore it’s too far away for me to drive back next weekend.

My fave place in the village for good coffee, breakfast bowls, smoothies and shakes. Loads of healthy options including hot brunches. Staff are friendly, no bookings required although it does get busy around 10-11. We stayed at the bay hotel and had breakfast here most mornings as it’s much better variety and value for money as a family. It’s a 3 min walk down South street.

---EDIT---

After getting into contact with Anthony at Meraki it turns out that closing the kitchen early only happened when managers weren't present!

After taking on board this we have been a few times after 2 and the kitchen has still been open - much better!

---EDIT---

Thank you for taking on board my comments.

We really enjoy coming here and as its open in the winter is a go to after a nice walk into the village.

Unfortunately this is the 3rd time we have come in after a long walk, for lunch, only to be told the kitchen has closed an hour and a half earlier than advertised - even outside the café on a board!

When there are so few options for food in the afternoon in Woolacombe in the winter it's not what you want to hear. Especially as its nearly a 2 mile walk home - up the hill!

We will definitely think twice about going back, we certainly won't be recommending it to our customers when the service offered is so unreliable....

Ultimately, disappointing. Food was ok, coffee was ok. Menu is short (which is often a good thing) but is biased towards breakfast dishes. Needs more variety for lunch and afternoon snacks. Staff communication needs to improve... we were greeted and invited to take a table (it was quiet) but not given a menu or asked to order at the counter. We copied another customer, who obviously knew the system, so we wasted no time waiting to be served but another table of four just left after waiting ten minutes, presumably because they were not served. This is easily solved - simply offer a menu on entry and print on the top of the menu "Please order at the counter". The staff seemed inexperienced but this may not be representative of other shops...

Visited this coffee shop twice during our holiday. The first time was great.. coffee was fantastic and lovely cake. The second time was a let down regarding the coffee.. latte and flat white were sloshed into the mug with no care, too hot and hardly any foam so this put us off returning sadly. The blondie was very nice though! The best coffee shops have consistency with the quality of coffee served so my only advice would be to ensure the staff are taking the time to serve it well as people generally don’t mind a longer wait if the...
