Munchies — Restaurant in North Devon

Absolutely disgusting customer service is poor ordered for delivery waited over an hour and a half for delivery. Only for parts of the order not to be in the bag. So rang them up to make them aware and was called a liar and told that it was all there and the manager flat out refused to replace the missing items as according to him they were there. He then started shouting and became very angry and abusive down the phone. Point is you expect to get what you paid for not to pay and only get bits and pieces. To be fair the food was pretty dry and cold anyway AVOID MUNCHIES AT ALL COSTS and THE MANAGER IS RUDE AND ABUSIVE AND FOOD WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. LUCKY I HAD TO GIVE A STAR AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED THEY DO NOT EVEN...

First visit, 10 out 10 (and I am a fussy eater).

Last night (Saturday) I didn’t fancy a Pizza but anyway, we gave Munchies a first try. I’ve got to hand it to them; it was excellent.

They took my order quickly with a 10 – 15 minute lead time.

We ordered two 10” pizzas with sides and I’m glad we opted for the 10” as they are packed with toppings. Great tasting Pizzas as well.

The Spicy Potatoes are superb! The Coleslaw is freshly made which was a nice touch. I also ordered a ‘small’ Spicy Chips & Cheese. The large portion must be massive.

They even threw in a bottle of Tango.

We are down here for a few weekends sorting out our new holiday home and we will be customers again as well as recommending tenants...

Refused to take an order over the phone. Stated must use their website. Called back to state I was having issues with mobile internet and and WiFi access as was in holiday in the area. When I prompted it must be a shame losing customers as I was looking to make a large order. Instead of acknowledging the issue of not taking orders and payments over the phone by card, went on being confrontational.

When I asked if that was the best customer service approach hit angry and hung up.

There are cleaner and more hygienic looking places around in the area. I think the Salvation Army cafe would give you better customer service.
