Love the coffee, but the environment is always conducive to sit and work or relax. When time over coffee important I've never felt rushed to get another customer in. Can bring my baby into one in Bangor, hoping strict rules on dogs not behaving, so that will continue. My fav is apricot croissant

Coffee was gross, left most of it our server seemed like the life had been sucked out of him tall blonde skinny guy. The other server who was dark haired with a beard and glasses was vastly better customer service was really good, polite seemed very professional

Pleasant place. Clean. Tidy. Good atmosphere. Well sited. Food and drink very acceptable. Snack food rather than main meal type but that is what Caffe Nero is all about. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Well 😊 worth the visit.

I have been to many cafes all over Europe, and normally I have no impression at all, but this one has just lazy and rude staff.

When I came in it was not very busy at all, yet the tables were not cleaned and I sort of nudged them when I ordered "I will be sitting over THERE". No one paid attention to that, I didn't get my tea for a few minutes and just sat down and started writing. Some 20-30 minutes later I notice the table is still not being done, I did not have a tea in front of me and went back to ask about it. "Oh yeah, you never picked it up. We don't do table service here". Which, okay, fair enough. Despite every other place being friendly enough to bring you your order to the table you sit at, you decide not to do that, and I think it is okay that no one should EXPECT that, especially on busier days (but as said earlier, it is just a friendly gesture that is very normal in other places... It goes a long way). But not even give me a verbal note either "Hey, your tea is done"? Nothing.

So I ask them if they can clean the table at least, or if they expect me to do that, too. "No, we don't do table service" over and over, as if cleaning the tables would be table service. None of the tables were done since I came in, in fact, I never saw any of them 2 outside their little counter area since I came in until 5 minutes to closing time.

And then that comment when I walked away, something like "Jeez, what a guy. How demanding can you be?".

I am very sorry, I do not go to a cafe to clean tables or stand at the counter for 5 minutes. I expect a little bit of service, a smile and no lip from the employees, which I got none of.

This was the worst experience I had in a cafe...

This place is always untidy and seems to suffer from a lack of staffing issue, as there always only ever seems to be one person on working no matter how many times i've been in, therefore always quite a queue, my husband and I called in for a takeaway coffee. I ordered a salted caramel latte, I was looking forward to it to discover when I got to the car there was nothing caramel about it but a standard coffee, get a grip! i travel weekly and it amazes me how the busiest of coffee shops in e.g new york chains with ten times as many coffees to make can get it right. I won't ever be back. The one in newtownards is better at least it doesn't taste...

Got a phone call from my wife to park up and come into the shop in Bangor as the staff wouldn't accept her method of payment? She was willing to pay but it was a £50 note that they wouldn't accept. My wife had called into have a coffee while waiting on me this day as she had just finished a session doing volunteer work in the town. Usually she would get the train back so luckily not this day as how would she have paid? Embarrassingly my wife had to wait until I arrived to collect her from my work in Belfast to pay the bill. No signage stating they never accepted Sterling of certain denominations. Shop and spend local, never again...
