It's my favourite place. The staff are wonderful and make you feel really welcome. The craic is different every day/night. Just depends when you visit. But regardless of when you visit it's always fantastic. I've eaten a meal in Jenny's a couple times and both times were amazing! I'm allergic to dairy but they were wonderful about it. They didn't make me feel awkward or like it was a hassle and I was able to enjoy meals from the 'normal' menu with all the condiments and all the 'fun' bits of the meal too instead of just having things taken out of it, And it was absolutely delicious both times!! Dog friendly too, which is great. Can't recommend it enough. When I call in, it always feels like a home from home. Plus fantastic local musicians playing multiple nights of the...

You used to be able to come in for lunch and there was so much food on the plate and food was amazing. I don't know what's happened but came in for lunch and had the club sandwich which has always been amazing any time I have visited. It was like a greasy cheese toastie..barely any chicken, no bacon, and one shrivelled up lettuce leaf. No coleslaw or garnish on the side? Hubby got the burger...used to be huge with an onion ring...he got a burger with no relish...bap was hard..no garnish...and a few chips on the plate. 40 odd quid later....food quality is going down and prices going up! Dinner might be better? But don't think I'll be coming for food again. Service at least was dead on, did not even feel like complaining as the waiting staff...

Liked it the moment I walked in the door. I would describe it as a cozy and comfortable local pub/restaurant. It was busy and there was a good buzz! The staff were very friendly and efficient which is always great to find. I was with 3 friends and we were able to get a free table even though it was busy. We had starters and main courses and the food was very good and very tasty! We all had the steaks and they were excellent! They were cooked as ordered and so tender that you could have cut them with your fork! I kid you not! The place was recommended to us by some locals! Thanks folks! Prices were very reasonable for what we ate and drank! Will definitely return on my next...

Visited here with a friend I was staying with in Bangor. We found the pub had a lovely atmosphere and the waiter serving us was lovely. I ordered the lasagne, which was deliciously prepared however maybe a little overdone but still tasty. My friend had the steak ciabatta, the temp was perfect and both our plates were scraped. Would certainly return for another visit to this local pub.

Home from home. Reasonable pub grub. But for what it lacks in Michelin star quality food it makes up for in service, atmosphere and drinks. Honestly as a writer, it's my fave place to go n work, especially in the winter when the fires roaring. Dog and people friendly it's a great place to drop in ❤️

A lovely (genuinely) traditional bar where you can get a first class pint of Guinness from pleasant and helpful bar staff. The last time we were in was St Patrick's evening (2022) and were entertained by Not Safe With A Razor, playing a wide range of quality folk music and adaptations.
