Just been told its a no laptop zone. I was hoping to sip and have a coffee and work whilst I drank and wait for my wife at her short medical appointment. Couldn't even sit outside with a laptop. After being told about the laptop free zone I noticed the signage for the laptop free zone. They are in a fancy font and rainbow colours on faded paper. Nothing that caught my eye as I entered, ordered coffee and got my laptop out. I left with a coffee dispensed into a takeaway cup. Ironically the man sat next to me had answered a call on his mobile and was talking loudly (it's a small venue so understandable that it appeared loud). I walked down the street with my £4 coffee thinking where else I could sit. Nowhere it turns out. I walked back towards the shop. 15mins later and the gentleman is still talking on his phone. What is more of a disturbance to others? Someone working quietly on their laptop for 15mins or someone on their phone. I was going to purchase some coffee beans as I've been told they're good. Read moreI have been to this coffee shop three times. Twice the drinks were cold. Last time I dropped my drink, my fault, and I went back to the the counter to buy another. The barrista said they would bring me one over, but it never came. My sister also found something small and hard in her non vegan cake, which was like a pebble.
