Amazing selection of beers both bottled, draught and kegged from the brewery. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a fairly large inside and outside seating space. I happened to go on a day when some rather rude and self centred people chose a tiny table to sit at and then invited half of the world to join them which slowly squeezed us out of the table we were at and mafe the experience unpleasant, not the fault of the pub but spoilt my enjoyment somewhar. There is a car park but only for 8 cars or so, i would suggest planning to park elsewhere and walk to tbe pub, well worth a visit for those that like real...

This is our favourite pub in the area. It is lead by a management team dedicated to providing customers with a superb leisure experience. The staff are without exception of the highest quality and provide first class service. The selection of ciders, beers and related drinks is superb, as is the care taken to ensure all products are in peak condition. This is confirmed by numerous CAMRA awards. Formerly part of the Fat Cat chain of pubs, this one also houses the Fat Cat Brewery. The bar offers a range Fat Cat beers plus a wide range of guest ales on handpump or gravity. This is supplemented by a range of Craft and bottled beer. For light meals they serve a range of Mother Chips (chips with an interesting range of toppings).
