Okay so they are sorting things out as they have just opened so take this with a grain of salt of course. Due to it just being opened there was a deal on where you can get the lunch buffet for under £10 each. Drinks separate.
When you get sat down they explain to you how it works and then you order your drinks. You do get as much water as you want. But you don’t get free refills on anything else. Would have been nice to have as much fizzy as you want.
The staff come around with the pizza and tell you what it is and ask if you want some. You get one slice and it seems like you have to eat that before you get another.
As for the Pizza, yeah it was okay. I prefer the pizza you would get a the Pizza Hut buffet but the good thing about this is you try some really different pizza is can result in great flavours but it all depends on what type of pizza style you like.
On the negative side of things..I felt like I was watching other people enjoy pizza then I was getting it myself. My plate would be empty however I would see pizzas going around the place that I would like but they would run out before they would get too me. I would have a slice and sometimes wait for about 10 minutes before the next slice would come. If you’re with someone who’s vegetarian don’t expect to be eating at the same time.
For the hour plus I was there I saw a pepperoni pizza come around the restaurant twice and both times I lost out as it ran out before it got to me. So I think there needs to be a better system.
I’ll stick to the Pizza Hut buffet but worth checking out while...
Read moreThey walk around with pizza and give you a slice if you want what’s on offer but for vegans/gluten free people you order a custom pizza per person from a list of options and you can have as many made as you like. We did hear a few of the walk around pizzas had things like tomatoes and cajun potatoes which were not an option on the custom menu which was a little disappointing as more choice would have been appreciated.
Probably the best pizza we have had in the UK at a non-vegan restaurant. Cooked perfectly, not too much cheese (some places add far too much vegan cheese and it goes all sloppy but these held up really well). Not sure we would return for full price unless a special occasion however!
Really hope they add some more vegan toppings, especially a meat alternative like seitan pepperoni or a vegan ham. The hour & half we were there we heard 6 vegan pizzas going out so there’s definitely a demand! A garlic topping option would be great too so a vegan garlic bread could be made, it also would pair perfectly with the broccoli on a pizza.
Bex was a fantastic server, really kind and friendly. The best customer service we have had at a restaurant for...
Read moreAs a vegetarian service isn’t usually the best at restaurants and I expected to go here and only have margarita and vegetable pizza, but I was amazed by the options and service. I walked in and they asked about dietary requirements and if we had any vegetarians and I am so they seated us and told the chef and servers I was a vegetarian and they told me “we will get as many vegetarian options out as we can” and they did then the man who served us Paul asked what my favourite pizza was and brought it out minutes later, another server asked what pizzas I liked that they had brought out and if I wanted them to make it again and I was asked this multiple times, the service was nothing like I had ever had before, they made the most effort u have ever seen and the pizza was the best I had ever had. I don’t usually wright reviews but I had to because this place really went above and beyond so thank you so much to all the staff at Motos and I would...
