One star not because of the staff or anything else. But my experience here was spoiled by a customer. My wife and myself were there and a 'regular' old lady asked if we liked curry. Upon asking why does she think this way, she replied because people who look like you usually like curry (we are Indian and of course look like one). I couldn't hear it correctly but my wife did and it was one of the worst feeling I had since I came to the UK. However, one of the staff members later apologised for what happened. But this surely is unfortunate that no one amongst the staff dared to even question this behaviour. I wouldn't blame them but myself who could not say anything...

General appearance of store was good. Service was good when ordering. Cleanliness is poor as toilet has not been cleaned in over a month, dirt on walls that gathers when not cleaned for a week plus, (clear in this store for at least a month.) No soap so had to wash hands with water before drying not good. In this industry there is daily cleaning, weekly cleaning and deep cleaning. It is all well and good just giving your store a quick clean, while staff sign off what they cannot be bothered to do. Toilets in resturantes and other food outelts say a lot and if dirty you ask what else is not been cleaned. Would not visit again due to...

We visited for the first time today and just felt very unwelcome. Waited a good 5 mins without being acknowledged at all, As a new customer you think are you in the wrong place? Do i need an app?Should I be at a table? Was very uncomfortable - it wasn't busy at all I don't expect wonders but when you're the only person in the queue you'd expect at least a "hello, be with you in minute" etc

Rewind our day back to two hours earlier when we were in Popeyes for the first time being welcomed and talked through how to order etc.

The drinks were very nice so that was a plus though. In no rush to return but I highly doubt anyone...

Nice spacious Caffè Nero with a good variety of seating options for parties of all sizes and for those who like a particular chair. Personally I’m a fan of the story telling armchair by the window with a view of the pedestrian crossing for some people watching. Staff friendly. Coffee good of course. Had a sausage ciabatta today. Not usually a fan of sausage but this really nice, with the crispy contrast of the toasted ciabatta roll. And Christmas fare is out. Their mince pies are always highly recommended!

Don’t come in here often but it is very convenient for the train station. Very nice decor, great for people watching. I had a mocha which was very good and compares favourably with Costa. Most mochas are too sweet for me and many coffee places don’t quite get the balance of sweetness from the chocolate and bitterness from the coffee, right, Nero does. The guy who served me, (young, bald, beard, but no name badge), was incredibly friendly. Nice place to kill a bit of time before or after catching a train.

Great Coffee and the delicious pastries. Use the app to earn free stuff quickly. Has a good size bright and welcoming internal space and views out over the newest part of the regenerated city, with a new multi-storey car park and the demolished Broadmarsh (work in progress but it already looks better…) 2 minutes to the bus station (in the car park) and the train station.
