I cannot give a 0 so it's a 1 from us. We were so excited to have our dinner in this place with our newborn who we just put to sleep in the pram before we arrived at the restaurant and the lady who served us she can tell from the way we talk me and my partner that we don't want our baby to wake up so we can have a peaceful meal but instead she took the glasses and the cutlery in a very bad way that caused so much noise and the baby wakes up crying. Then we ordered our food and were so excited to have it but my husband got his order OKAY but for me I received something different from what I ordered when I asked her to change it she said they can't because they already put on to an oily piece of fried aubergine and few botato chips even though you can tell it's an already cooked stew. So my partner decided not to ruin our evening so he ordered again the dish Iwanted first which was soo tangy like anything else and we were about to have desserts but they already ruined our mood and evening. We left the dish that we didn't order but paid for and left disappointed. If you have a special occasion don't ruin it by going there stuff are racist and unprofessional.

I recently dined at Persian Palace in Nottingham and I must say, I was absolutely blown away. The interior of the restaurant is simply stunning, with intricate Persian designs and beautiful artwork that reminded me of the ancient city of Persepolis in Shiraz. But the real star of the show was the makhsoos kabab that I ordered. The kabab was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with tender, juicy meat that practically melted in my mouth. The flavors were exquisite, with just the right amount of spices to give it that authentic Persian taste. I couldn't get enough of it! The service at Persian Palace was also top-notch, with attentive staff who made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and already planning my next visit. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Persian cuisine in Nottingham, look no further than Persian Palace. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Posting this 10 mins after having a meal here with my team at work. Absolutely fantastic! The food was beautifully cooked and presented. The flavours were delicate, subtle and each mouthful made you want more. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu. It was my first time eating Persian cuisine. It will definitely not be the last as I plan to return here with the wife very soon. Thank you Persian Empire for a fantastic meal! Edit: Came back today (13th Feb 2024) with the wife. Different staff, same amazing food, service and ambience. Edit 2: 8/4/25. Food and staff still absolutely awesome! Amazing restaurant! Will definitely be coming back!

It’s not every day you come across a restaurant that delivers on all fronts, but this place truly exceeded expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was clear we were in for a memorable experience. Despite being surprisingly busy for a Friday, everything—from the warm welcome to the outstanding food and vibrant atmosphere—was handled flawlessly, leaving us feeling truly valued as customers.

Service: The service was absolutely exceptional and deserves special recognition. A heartfelt thank you to Abass and Jaward for going above and beyond to make me, my wife, and my two daughters feel so welcomed. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth turned an ordinary meal into an unforgettable family outing. They made sure we felt at home from the start, taking the time to greet us with smiles and walk us through the menu with great recommendations. It’s rare to find service that’s not only efficient but also deeply personal, and this team nailed it. Even though the restaurant was bustling with activity, we were never made to feel rushed, and all our needs were attended to with care and attention.

Food: The food was nothing short of spectacular—a true feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. We started with the mezze platter, which was a brilliant recommendation by the staff. Each item on the platter was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bread, which was more naan-like, was deliciously warm and soft. While it was generously portioned, it’s worth noting that the most It’s clear that the chefs put immense care and attention into crafting dishes that are not only delicious but also beautifully balanced.

Atmosphere: The ambiance was the perfect complement to the food and service. The restaurant manages to strike a delicate balance between lively and cozy. Even on a busy Friday, the atmosphere remained warm and inviting, making it an ideal setting for a family meal. The decor added a touch of elegance, while the background chatter and laughter created a vibrant yet relaxed environment. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a meal without feeling rushed, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just unwinding after a long week.

Overall Experience: The combination of outstanding service, exceptional food, and a welcoming atmosphere made this visit truly special. The attention to detail in every aspect—from the prompt and friendly service to the beautifully plated dishes—shows just how much this restaurant values its guests. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this restaurant did so effortlessly. Abass and Jaward deserve a special mention for their hospitality—they truly went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect, and their warmth made all the difference.

Final Thoughts: This restaurant is a shining example of what great dining should be.

Thank you once again to Abass and Jaward for making our visit so memorable—you turned a regular meal into an extraordinary experience.

An easy 5/5 across the board—highly recommended for anyone looking for a dining experience that goes...

Honestly, if you want to dine in with your significant other reconsider going somewhere like here. Absolutely shocking service

Asked them to make a simple substitution for a side as a part of their set meal for two. Clarified and clarified at the ordering stage, made the waitress read it back to me a couple of times. Off she went. What comes out to the table to my surprise was an extra side that I requested to be substituted and the irony of having three portions on the table.

I raised this and explained to another waitress/possibly the boss. Then she had brought out the correct side. To my surprise again they billed me extra for their own error. When I queried this the blame was put on myself for not raising it sooner, (if I had not earlier how would the correct side have gotten to the table- I thought in my head). I wasn’t going to argue over the extra money, but I have never had an experience of this sort.

I have no intention of going back. I would definitely not recommend unless you are deliberately looking for a poor dining experience.

If you do decide to go food is average at best. I would stay away from the lamb dishes especially the overcooked fillet which you would more than likely be chewing to the next year. Prices not the most expensive considering the location, but definitely not fair based on the quality of food, poor service and ability to...

Well 1st time eating Persia food and was looking forward to it too. We chose lamb '& okra dish, but the waiter/greeter recommended we try the lamb shank stew and lamb neck stew instead, with a serving of veggie okra dish. Well what came was NOT A STEW but a piece of bland lamb neck with pots of 2 sauces and a bland lamb shank too - it literally tasted like old cooked food or food removed from the bin and washed under a tap and presented on our plates - which looked nothing like picture on menu as both should have been inside bowls of stew and I'VE HAD A BETTER & MORE FLAVOURSOME LAMB SHANK FROM WETHERSPOONS! Now as a connoisseur of Moroccan & Turkish food and a very good cook of jamaican parentage too, let me say I know my food. And this was blatantly recommended & served to us for them to recoup their losses, as we were 1st timers to their establishment! I left 3/4 of my dish & my friend left 1/2 of hers. We only had 1 jack daniels (which wasn't a double as charged) and a single shot of baileys - so no we weren't drunk and I say this loud & clear SHAME ON YOU & NO RECOMMENDATIONS WILL BE DIRECTED TO YOU EITHER - AND WE BOTH WORK WITHIN LARGE...
