Me and my 10 month old baby girl and sister was in town today after shopping my daughter needed to have her dinner so I thought to my self I would come into this pub have a cuppa tea while feeding my little girl I asked for them to warm up my little girls food it was in its own container and it would have been in the microwave for less than 20 seconds Never in my life have I ever been told they cannot warm up a BABIES food due to health and safety There is no law or legislation about not being able to warm up babies food in the microwave but I got told no due to it not being there food But you offered me hot water to warm it up....how is that safer Bringing boiling hot water into a busy pub/restaurant and handing it to me over my child’s head! I then tried to open up the container with the hot water in it and it spilled everywhere luckily my daughter was no we’re near the water which is what the waiter should have done and handed it to me away room my child I bunt my leg in the process, I was just lucky that it wasn’t that hot. Maybe you should think about your ‘health and safety’ about warming up a babies meal rather than giving people hot boiling water next to a child I will NOT be returning to this place I would rather go to someone we’re that had better ‘health and safety’ like the ferry boat inn which ACTUALLY warms up children’s food and comforts to your...
Read moreVisit to Wetherspoons, Joseph Else Dear whom it may concern, Today, I visited your Wetherspoons with my friend. I was extremely pleased with the level of service given to us today. Wait times were exceptional and quality of food was Good. Staff are extremely friendly, for example, when we finished eating a kind gentlemen asked us if the food was of a good standard. Staff at the bar were also extremely friendly as well. Staff tonight were more than willing to go the extra mile to provide an excellent experience. I was disappointed to find a lot of food to be out of stock. On the other hand, this was a minor inconvenience. Below are categories I have used to rate your restaurant. Management: Good Service: Outstanding Quality of Food: Good Price: Outstanding Wait times: Very Short Value for Money: Yes Toilets: Usually clean Location: Outstanding Atmosphere: Quiet I am very happy with the level of service provided to me and my friend today; the service today was on par with a lot of posh restaurants so I for one would like to commend the extremely friendly staff at this wetherspoons. Improvements to be made/notes: Ensure that toilets are consistently clean Ensure there is enough stock to get through the week Kind regards. Date of Visit: 2nd...
Read moreWell what can I say, place was filthy, glasses and food everywhere. Rubbish all over the floor. Ordered 5 meals with drinks when eventually found a table that wasn't covered in food and glasses. The drinks came out followed by four of the meals. The loaded chips were definetly not of wetherspoons normal standard! The fifth meal (a pizza and the simplest one to cook) didn't arrive so had to be asked about. They said they will go get it straight away. 5 minutes later and after everyone else had half eaten their meal someone came and said they didn't have what was requested 😡 Another choice of pizza was chosen and that arrived after everyone else had finished. A round of drinks was asked for in compensation to him waiting and us, now having to wait for him to eat his meal. Oh what a palava that was. It was as if we'd asked to drink the bar dry. Three times he went back and forward and eventually four of the five drinks arrived (2 Pepsi's and 2 halves of alcohol, where was the 5th drink???? Eventually the duty manager came and said we could have a refund of the pizza or the drink. For god sake we wanted half of lager 🤦🏼♀️that came eventually! Wetherspoons look at your staffs uniform, looked like it had just been put on from the needing ironing pile!!! Thought your uniform standards were so...
