I got into the pub,at about 5pm . Wait for about 15 - twenty minutes waiting for service ,to be sold a half pint of Stella!! During this time ,I was passed up and down by the two servers, one a manager in an anti iron shirt ! Eventually,he approached and I said. "Finally !" He was not happy and made some negative comments to me. So in response,I pointed out to him that he needs to recognise he is serving the public and needs to iron his clothing ,which on his back ,looked like a wrestling match between himself and the shirt - and this was not the first time !! !!! He responded by suggesting that he will not serve me ,and that I'm banned from the pub ad infinitum!!! I then took a quick look at his badge ,which said :" Manager !!!"

To my horror ,he then threatened to call the Police ,to have me removed!!! Yes ...they did come after and hour and a half ,and promptly asked me to lea be the premises ! I suggested to the very mature ,and exceptionally pleasant and rational Duty Manager, that someone needed to tell him that he was inappropriately dress! That even a company provided tea shirt would have been better that an unironed ,very ruffled shirt- an that was about the sixth time I observed that abuse of service to the public !!!!! Yes ,he is easily identifiable ...excessively ruffled shirt ,short and rude ,with a manager's badge !! Oriental . As pleasant as the Duty Manager has been ,I can't understand why he felt the need to defend this rude and disgracefully attired 'Manager'! Had I been dressed like that as a customer ,I am certain I would have been...

Ok while I know I have given a good review, my issue was with the logic displayed on Saturday. We ordered food and drinks on the app, as most places ask you to do nowadays. And after a short wait around 15mins we were served our food! I asked where are our drinks which we ordered at the same time and were part of the deal, to be told that there was a half an hour wait on drinks, but if we went to the bar they would compensate our drinks back to us? This seemed a very strange, so once we had ate our food which was very nice by the way, I proceeded to qué at the bar to get my refund? which yet again seemed very strange as the bar is where I would have got my drinks from? I eventually caught the eye of someone who was actually the person serving the drinks from the app and he had just sent the over. Can I also say all the staff were very polite and professional, and that aside the process of standing at a bar the place you sell and provide drinks from in order to get a refund for the delay in service, and while I understand this may appease some people who just want a quick drink and go! But it does seem a little redundant to wait at the bar the place were the drinks are poured to get I would assume a credit back to my card at some point rather than just pour me my drinks. It was all...

We tried to go for a meal and I had my four kids with me and I met up with another household who also has 4 kids and also lives with her mum as says on the government website as stated:

Where you can meet indoors You can meet in a group of 6 or a larger group of any size from up to 2 households (including their support bubbles) indoors in places such as:

private homes retail indoor hospitality venues, such as restaurants, bars and cafes indoor sports and leisure facilities, such as gyms, sports courts, and swimming pools personal care, such as spas indoor entertainment and visitor attractions, such as museums, theatres, and indoor play areas

We were told we weren't allowed to eat there because they only have a rule of 6 which is wrong as says different on the gov website, in which I stated and they told us to leave even though we split up on 3 different tables. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and I think they just couldn't be arsed to serve us. So we took our custom elsewhere. Wouldn't even give it a 1 star if I...

The Roebuck is my favourite Wetherspoons in all of Nottinghamshire. What it lacks in natural light it makes up for in low priced food, cheap drinks and cracking atmosphere. Don't complain about any of the above, it's Wetherspoons. If, like me, you can look past all the pro-Brexit propaganda and the demise of independent local pubs in the name of sub-£3 beverages then there really is no better place. I usually order on the app which means I can stare at my phone and avoid talking to people for as long as possible. Pictured is a Wetherspoons pizza (around £7 with a beverage) with premium topping (pineapple), followed by a cookie dough sandwich which was so delicious it was gone before I could even snap a picture. However, my favourite meal here has to be the gourmet veggie burger, cookie dough sandwich and pint of Guinness. I call it the 3000 because it comes in at around 3000 calories and means I then don't have to eat anything at all for the next four days.

Ok so here is my review as of right now !! It’s Friday at 17:30PM so far we have waited over 30 minutes for our drinks, told be one member of staff our table was In the way , how can that be when the table we came across was where it was ? We said to the man who was Young looking with a pony tail and face piercings this is how we got our table, he was very rude towards us and shook his head, we moved our table slightly and the menu stack that was to side of us and he said we should note have touched that ! He told my wiser in-law to Move her arm as it was in his way, this chap really need to brush up on his customer service skills and should not be in this environment if he can’t cope with the business being busy, so disappointed in the service as we are regulars here, look at this picture you can clearly see this is enough room for this colleague to get by and do his job

Visited while staying in Nottingham. This is quite a strangely placed spoons to be honest. It is down a side street instead of a main high street like they usually are. A lovely building from the outside, more akin to an office type look but once inside it looks lovely. A few seating areas to choose from. Ordered our food and it arrived fairly quickly. It was the first ever time I've had a spoons lasagne and to be honest it would be far nicer in a heated dish as it lost its heat quite quickly on a cold plate. All the other meals were nice also. It was a Wednesday evening when we visited so quite quiet. A nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff all helped to make it a pleasent visit
