The Lord Roberts — Restaurant in Nottingham

Once again the female bar manager with long dark hair has made me feel unwelcome with her curt attitude and side eye. She really needs to go on a customer service skills course. In February when I last came here she made me and my group feel rushed at closing time by telling us to finish our drinks every 5 minutes and sighing. Tonight I've gone in at 10.10pm and she said the bar was closed. One of the other bar staff at the end of the bar mimicked "what you're not open?" and he started laughing at me. Really..is this the customer service the Lord Roberts strives for? RE: REPLY, IM SIRE SHE WAS SHOCKED BECAUSE IVE POSTED WHAT HAPPENED. IF YOU LOOK AT THE CAMERA FOOTAGE AGAIN I CAME IN WITH ANOTHER MALE, WENT TO THE BAR YOUNG FAIR HAIRED MALE STOOD FACING ME BEHIND THE BAR - HE SAID NOTHING BUT SHE WAS BEHIND THE BAR WITH HER BACK TO ME, AND THE GUY WHO CAME OUT WITH THE COMMENT (YOUNG FAIR CURLY HAIRED)WAS STOOD TO THE RIGHT OF ME WITH ANOTHER GUY AT THE END OF THE BAR. IM NOT LYING AND GOT NO REASON TO MAKE THIS UP. WHATS ANNOYING IS THAT STAFF CAN TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS AND ARENT HELD ACCOUNTABLE ONCE A COMPLIANT COMES IN. I’m not a regular at The Lord Roberts, but whenever I do pop in, I’m always made to feel incredibly welcome. This review couldn’t be further from the truth about such a wonderful establishment. The pub is warm, inviting, and has a fantastic atmosphere. The bar staff are professional and friendly, and there’s an excellent selection of drinks on offer.

There is always something happening, from quiz nights to fabulous drag shows that draw a lively and welcoming crowd. You’ve truly made this pub a go-to venue for everyone.
