I'm giving this place three stars for the food because, let's be honest, it's pretty darn tasty. But when it comes to customer service, they might as well be giving out lessons on how to make customers cry. Seriously, they need to work on their people skills, or at least invest in a course called "Politeness 101." So, picture this: I'm strolling by, minding my own business, and I spot an empty table outside. Excited, I ask the staff if the table was available and was told that unfortunately it was booked. 😢 - but no problem, there’s always next time! Undeterred, I decided to be proactive and called the next day to book a table outside. Can you guess what they said? They don't take bookings for outdoor seating. I couldn't help but scratch my head in confusion. Are they trying to test my patience or just playing a prank? I'm not sure, but I'll go along with it, because why not add a dash of mystery to my dining experience? So, I went ahead and made a reservation anyway, thinking I'll beat the system by arriving early and queuing for an outdoor table if one becomes available. Simple plan, right? Well, apparently not for the lady I encountered. As I started explaining my strategy, she interrupted me faster than a seagull swooping in for a French fry - she didn’t even let me talk! Talk about rude and condescending! I half-expected her to roll her eyes and say, "Oh, look at the genius who arrived early. How impressive. - but computer says no!” 😂 All in all, if you have a hankering for delicious food and don't mind a side dish of bewildering booking policies and snooty service, this place might just be your cup of tea. Just remember to bring your patience and a good sense of humor – you'll need it!

Looks can be deceiving… I love a Napoli style pizza but sadly this did not hit the spot: crust was burnt, as was the base, which left each bite crispy; tomato sauce was lacking flavour (genuinely tasteless); base was thicker than you’d expect for a Napoli pizza; and the truffle sauce was underwhelming, just bland. Sadly, it doesn’t stop there. The aperol spritz was served in a pint glass, warm and without an orange slice… Priced at £9, you can get better at Spoons. I did request an orange slice to be added and the waiter was happy enough to rectify, just surprising it wasn’t originally included. Service was slow despite not being too busy when I arrived (granted it appeared they had a lot of online takeout orders). Nice enough servers, just terribly understaffed which meant they were unable to tend to your table when you’d like. Ambience is great, just beware of wobbly chairs/wonky flooring. The real save and grace was their gelato, specifically the pistachio. Insane flavour and such a generous serving for one scoop - no faults there, 10/10. Overall, 3/5. The low rating is down to the pizza quality and slow service - some good room for improvement. Won’t be returning anytime soon (unless for dessert).

Pizza Pilgrims offers a cute and inviting vibe across its three floors, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. The friendly and amiable staff further enhance the welcoming atmosphere of this establishment. My visit was marked by the indulgence in a Margherita pizza topped with burrata cheese. The thin crust, crispy edges, and soft center perfectly encapsulated the essence of an authentic Italian pizza. The creamy burrata cheese elevated each bite, making it an unforgettable culinary experience. Accompanying this delectable pizza was the garlic bread, boasting an amazing buttery flavor that instantly won me over. Both dishes were a testament to Pizza Pilgrims' dedication to flavor and quality. The staff's warmth and the inviting ambiance added to the overall charm of the place, making it an ideal spot to relish exceptional pizzas. The combination of the crispy yet tender pizza crust with creamy burrata, alongside the fantastic garlic bread, made my visit a true celebration of flavors. Pizza Pilgrims certainly stands out for its impeccable taste and inviting atmosphere, promising a memorable and satisfying dining journey.

I was thoroughly disappointed by the service during our visit. While the food was good, it was entirely overshadowed by the poor conduct of the wait staff.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a blonde woman with glasses and a larger build (possibly going by the name Carrie, but once again, lack of hosting skills meant no formal introduction). She was curt and dismissive from the start. Instead of properly showing us to our table, she gave a vague, unhelpful gesture in its direction.

Throughout our meal, her lack of professionalism was evident. She frequently rolled her eyes at us and other customers, seemingly unaware that we could see her. A simple inquiry about sauce ingredients was met with obvious irritation, as though we should have known the allergen information beforehand.

Her focus appeared to be more on chatting with her colleagues than attending to customers, leaving us feeling neglected. When the bill arrived, her rudeness continued. A straightforward question about her day was met with an expression that suggested she had no interest in engaging with us.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The management should reconsider the staff they are hiring, as this kind of unprofessional behavior severely impacts the...
