This pub is located away from the city centre so mostly visited by locals. It is a big venue with multiple rooms and a lively backyard and terrace. They also have access to Nottinghams caves system located directly under the pub. Selection of drinks is impressive and the service is always nice and friendly. We have never waited longer than a few minutes to be served regardless of how busy it was. The pub has got its own unique look and thanks to partly covered courtyard situated at the back you can still enjoy outside even when it rains. The toilets are clean and looked after during the day. Read moreI used to love this pub, bar staff are excellent. When trying to be seated the manager was extremely rude and dismissive of what I said and made me feel very unwelcome. Unfortunate as this pub is on my doorstep and I used to very much enjoy it.
Don't like to leave a scathing review, but the way I was treated didn't leave too much room for an alternative.
Excellent place, but the manager really ruined it.
Just to clarify, this wasn't due to government guidelines as I came back to the pub when there was room. I was rudely removed from the pub without raising my voice or uttering a word in anger.

Canning Circus is well known to locals as the area is dominated by good bars and eateries.
