Fantastic real ale pub, always has a good selection of Ales available. Cosy and authentic surroundings with an open fire and friendly bar staff. Great value compared to other local venues. The Dinners available on a Sunday between 12 and 4 have a good selection of meats available plus a vegetarian option. We first visited on Burns day weekend and Haggis Neeps and Tatties was also on the menu. They often have other specials such as shin beef or toad in the hole available as well as the usual Sunday dinners lamb/beef/chicken/pork.
