What a little gem of a find.
Iām staying at a guesthouse on Abingdon Road for work and really couldnāt be arsed to walk all the way back to the city centre for beer and food. Cue a quick Google search which presented me with this.
I popped to the White House for a quick āaperitifā, sneaking out 15 minutes before I had finished to place my order at Falafel House (virtually next door). I opted for a falafel and baba ganoush wrap and a chicken shawarma - both of which were delicious and very generous in size. In fact, the falafel was probably the best Iāve ever eaten. Huge balls with a burger-like texture. Amazing.
The premises are lovely and clean and actually rather cute, with a seating area if required. The real star is the delightful Ali running the show. Lovely lad who deserves every success. Keep up the good work, fella. Iāll be back next time...
