Absolutely appalled by the service here. Asked for a large americano to take away and then I bought the coffee back because clearly the milk had curdled, I was greeted with "how would you like me to make your coffee" and "because the water is so hot this is how the soya milk reacts and can't be helped". I have had soya milk curdle like this before, at home and in other coffee shops. It has always been understood that this is indeed a problem of the milk and a fresh coffee has been made for me with fresh milk and NO problem. By the Park or Nicki's as I call it is the best cafe I have ever been to. The food is always wonderful and I am fussy. All the cakes are home made and believe me, she makes great cakes. The China and cutlery is of a higher standard than most eateries and is always immaculate an important thing for me. You have a view of the park if you wish to sit in the window. Dogs are more than welcome inside or out, little seating area out the back when it is nice weather. And they offer soya milk. Definitely visit, you won't be disappointed.
